He wanted to call Yingxing husband too. He wanted Yingxing to be his. (That was not the way this story was supposed to go so it was better not to dream, but he couldn't help it now.) While he wouldn’t promise anything for a future he was sure wouldn’t happen, he also didn’t want Yingxing to think this didn’t matter. He pulled their linked fingers close and pressed a kiss against the back of Yingxing’s hand. “I will consider it,” he whispered.

I think about this fic non-stop and have reread it multiple times, I'm obsessed with the story and wanted to expose more people to it. I just love the world building, the political conflicts and the characters and how everything fits together. It's like the missing puzzle piece the canon story lacks.
