In Elyos, cutting off the ring finger is a truly abhorrent, foul and disrespectful action.

In fact cutting off any finger is unforgivable.

So I made my own.

I was so completely thrown off by seeing them run bear foot that I fully believed that it was deliberate and because Arval wanted to feel the ground under their feet. I thought this because they don't have a physical body in the main game and they never even bother to pretend at standing, instead they float.

But now I have this headcanon about how if they did have a body they would love to feel and touch the world. I feel it also makes sense because not only are they agarthan but they where also, probably, made in an underground lab. Oh! And they are infantry in feh!

Just imagine Shez watching Arval run unfazed across gravel or them finding out that grass gets wet in the morning and night. Are there textures they really don't like. Do they get cold? They probably sunburn really easily. Are they amazed by large living animals like pegasus or wyvern. Can they eat? What's their favourite food?? How would they react to snow???

All things that you need a body to answer.

I only just finished golden wildlife.

Chapter 16 into the chasm hurt me so much. Arval is my favourite character ever.

I've not seen much art of Shez being distraught about loosing their friend so here you go.

I can't believe their last words were "and yet I have never felt so alone."

And then later Shez says something along the lines of "I can't hear them anymore"

I couldn't find an image of the mega bird sigil. You know this thing:

So I did my best to put it together myself.

It's not perfect.

I messed around with some placements of the feathers?/manta? so that they looked a bit less cramped up and I'm pretty sure that the original is in a tighter circle but it's the best I've got.

And then draw over the bird the best I could and also fill in the bits we can't see with context clues. Lots of sky art is symmetrical but still hand draws so I begrudgingly didn't just copy and paste/use a mirror tool.

This is also were I moved around some of the placements so that it just looked better overall.

Then I cleaned it up a bit and added colour :)

Last too are also transparent if you want them :D

I don't know if something like this already exists but I really likes them and figured other people might like em to.
