KIM HASUN âBleuâ
AGE: Twenty-Eight COMPANY: Alpha Records POSITION: Choreographer/Dancer FACECLAIM: Lee Euijin PLAYED BY: Lemon
Hasunâs childhood was quick and uneventful as far as he is concerned. Parents hardly around, more focused on money than family, grades that never soared but didnât fall. The only thing that ever stands out to him when he looks back is the slight bullying for a blue eye caused by heterochromia but that had been solved after a few harsh words and sharp hits. A boring life for a seemingly boring person. It wasnât until he left home, at sixteen, that Hasun found any passion in life. Moving from a small town to the streets of Seoul maybe should have come as a bigger shock to the system but it never fully settled in for Hasun. Not until he got his first glimpse of street dancers.
Heâd danced before, it had been fun as a child, one of his aunts paying for the odd lesson here and there but it was mostly him on his own in a cramped bedroom. There had always been the knowledge in the back of his head that he could have a career in it, that there were dancers on the television, at events, he could be one of them, but other things had seemed important. More possible.
It took four months for him to finally start indulging his interest in the hobby. He canât help but look back and see those four months as a complete waste of life.
A year later heâd found a small street crew to join and dancing had slowly begun to eclipse thoughts of doing anything else with his life. Many liked to say that he had a natural affinity for it but Hasun never agreed, still doesnât, he worked too hard at it all for people to just write it off as âcoming naturalâ. The confidence others had in his talents though did lead to him getting scouted at the age of eighteen. Signing with a small but trustworthy company and instantly beginning to train in hopes of debut. As time went on though and Hasun saw more and more of the industry, of how idols suffered and fell he couldnât help but pull himself out of it.
After that he was lost. He had the drive, the talent, the notoriety in the dancing scene but no where to go and no solid dream of what he wanted to do. Dancing as a whole was too broad and not dancing too heart wrenching. Eventually Hasun managed to use the limited industry connections he had to get a gig being a backup dancer for a rookie groupâs showcase. Which then led him to a larger company and then a larger one after that and a larger one after that. It wasnât until he got to Alpha Records that Hasun actually found somewhere he liked. He couldnât really describe what it was about the place that made him so comfortable, but it worked for him and it wasnât long until he was signing on to be a permanent choreographer and dancer for the company.
That was five years ago now and Hasun has continued to make a name for himself, even if this one is smaller than it would if he was an idol. It suits him. He mainly goes under the stage name âBleuâ when heâs performing, a cheesy nickname from an ex-boyfriend that had ended up sticking over the years until everyone was calling him it.
Heâs mainly known for his dancing and choreographies but outside of that most people agree that heâs a kind soul. Often going out of his way to do things for others even when it isnât really necessary, but it doesnât mean heâs a pushover. Fair from it. Heâs resilient, painfully stubborn, but someone doesnât come up from nothing to his position by not being, it takes a certain level of confidence and blunt headedness that he is lucky enough to have. And the intelligence to use any jealousy or rivalry to his advantage.
