Run run run. RUN AWAY.

He was not my boyfriend. On the other hand, he wasn’t just a friend either. Instead, our relationship was elastic, stretching between those two extremes depending on who else was around, how much either of us had to drink, and other varying factors. This was exactly what I wanted, as commitments had never really been my thing. And it wasn’t like it was hard, either. The only trick was never giving more than you were willing to lose.

At the end of the day, you’re the one that pushed me away. Not the other way around. So don’t act like this is my fault. You had a choice to make and you made the wrong one. That’s something you’ve gotta learn to live with. I’m done saving you.

Be the love you never received

Everyone is someone’s devil.

Most often we fall in love with the person we think we love but to only discover that for them, we are just for passing time while the one who truly loves us remains either a friend or a stranger. So here’s a piece of advice; let go when you’re hurting too much, give up when love isn’t enough, and move on when things are not like before. For sure there is someone out there who will love you even more.

Don’t give up on something just because you don’t think things will work, you won’t know unless you give it a try. Don’t worry about failure. Worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try. Take chances, take a lot of them. Because honestly, no matter where you end up and with whom, it always ends up just the way it should be. Your mistakes make you who you are. You learn and grow with each choice you make. Everything is worth it. Say how you feel always. Be you, and be okay with it.

Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect.
