I seem to have started a collection of sparkly things from the 90s

I'm sitting on my back deck, looking over my pool drinking alone. Nathaniel Rateliff is playing in the background and I'm thinking back over the year. It's been all over the place. I've fallen in and out of love with someone who doesn't care for me in the same way. I've questioned everything that I do. I've given up playing music live... twice. I've written an album of songs about me and my life. They're heavy and sad and generally hard for me to listen to, but they're honest. I'm stuck in this weird state between broken and ok. I'm not even sure what to call it. I've abandoned those I held closest, even those who I called friends, but didn't see all that much. I'm a mess but at the same time I'm ok. I'm lost and I can't seem to fully find my way home despite always being close by.
