A sky full of dark clouds, covering the horizon with its foreboding presence. The rain will be starting soon; a storm is brewing. The bustling metropolis of Academia, its towering structures- casting long shadows over the lower sectors, as the day came to its end. The night drawing near, the city became a glittering expanse of neon lights against a darkening sky.
 Â
Located in the lower sectors, better known as the slums of Academia. Most never traverse to the lower parts of the city- for it is a dangerous place for normal citizens to venture.  A small building snuggled between two vacant structures, that originally had use to some means, has long been forgotten. The shop has two parts to it- at the bottom is the workshop, and apartment on top, where the owner lived. A neon sign floating from what appears to be a broomstick made from black iron, written in a fancy font befitting its name, âMatoyaâs Potion Shopâ.  Its known for its exotic, rare and strange concoctions- where asking for a potion to cure a broken heart is possible, if not expensive, but just in case you canât pay- there is a bartering system.Â
 Â
Its a thursday, a day like most where there are no customers, all the work for the day has been finished, all special orders finalized and ready to be shipped. Except one, that requires a certain ingredient which hasnât arrived yet. The shops been scrubbed clean, Waldos handiwork- the frog just knows how to keep the place spotless. //Dreary weather doesnât make this evening any better\, the owner of the shop, slumped lazily in her armchair. Boredom has set in and she considered closing down shop early, and calling it a day. Looking around the workshop, there seemed like there was no projects that needed finishing, or no motivation to start one either. The witch sat up in the seat, stretching her arms out above her head- a tired yawn, slowly rising from the comfy chair- heading to the front of the shop to begin closing preparations.Â
â Closing sounds like the best choice, better hurry before any last minute shoppers drop by-âÂ

. ⿠⸺ â° A sharp and brief thunder thunderstorm, which seemed to strike somewhere near the swath lofty buildings and spires, put an end to the disturbances. Strange and unpleasant odours, probably from neighbouring abodes along open space, are popularly linked with these incidents; and may have had their share of exciting men of science. The aspects of Yeul had become haggard and febrile, and many agreed in retrospect that she may be had wished at this period to make some statement or confession from which sheer antipathy withheld her. the reticent youth vocalized scarcely sojourn, save for mere colloquies conveying basic wants and analysis. Not long after her departure that Yeul fancied many things vivid, clear in certain realms of existence that opened up remarkable vistas of reality. Not long after Caius witnessed her physical aspect had undergone subtle modifications that subsequently noticed; and regarding her health seemed feeble and very drawn, what spirit associate with puerile youth had dissolved into a stolid resignation, hence at night undergone terrible nocturnal visions. Inquiries at her quarter revealed she had been stricken with an obscured sort of fever and taken to her home in a nameless village. She had cried at night, arousing several hunters in the building, and manifested since then only alternations of unconscious and delirium. Her temperature, oddly enough, was greatly above normal, which her condition likewise suggest a true fever rather than mental disorder. Her nocturnal visions had bred some morbid hallucinations which she hesitantly confided to her parents, and which they ridiculed in talking to her, although they made them ponder deeply alone. When Caius questioned Yeul about her habitually sleeping, she recalled no traces of the freakish hallucinations. It was a parental instinct that Caius was hesitant to find anything conceivable in her statement, but the parting impression was one sound of sanity and poise. The interview was really quite inconclusive occasions, and as Yeul left to resume her bird watching Caius hardly knew what to make of the entire business. As yeul grew older, it appeared, her matutinal aberrations gradually increased in frequency and disturbance; til a month ago before his arrival into the city had occurred the shocking tragedy cause unconscious irresponsible utterances of titanic visions. Â
Penetrating into those dark, lowly lit alleyways, did they find crude edifices and shapeless abodes strewed about lowermost parts of the cities of night. Incongruous to most of the locality of the city, following similar chronicle delight, it was dispassionately undeveloped in its appearance, and inhabited denizens of below the commercials want of life. Where it no from the effulgent glow of those fluorescent signs shown into that tenebrous shadows that marked his destination. He had opened up the curious, crossing the threshold, into an open space were he met something inhuman seated at across from him.Â
