Don’t mind how awkward I look 😭 but!! I met the sweetest little dudes this weekend!!! Freddie was so thrilled that I brought stretch hehe. I let nhut pick if he wanted the eagle or the flamingo, and he picked eagly.
Freddie saw my ghostbusters shirt before anything, so he went “ghostbusters!! Cool! I like it” and then clocked stretch 😭
Fun things we chatted abt at their booths:
• I told Freddie I was a death investigator, and the scene of him cutting up chris made me laugh bc the tools he used were the same tools we use during autopsy. Including the hedge clippers. Freddie said he didn’t like filming that scene bc it grossed him out. it was bloody and the mannequin was too life like.
•Freddie asked me what a day in my life at work was like 😭
•he also asked me if I happened to have stretch or if I bought him for the con, and I told him I already had stretch, and my family fell victim to the beanie baby craze of the 90s and he asked me if I was stillwaiting for the market to bounce back 💀
•speaking of stretch! He said that line abt stretch being the cutest was improvised bc they randomly had a ton of stretch beanie babies compared to all the others 😭
Ultimately, Freddie was just a dude. Super friendly, and talked to me like he was just a guy.
AND NHUT
•nhut was an absolute joy. My coworker and I chatted with him for so long. He was a pleasure and so funny.
•he also asked me what my plans were, and I told him work and told him about my work blah blah blah, and he asked me if we ever got scared in there and my coworker said no, and I said yes. And my coworker was like?? And so I told him (and confessed to her) that when I put someone in the morgue I do a little jog out of there to make sure the doors don’t shut on me while I’m in there and he laughed out loud at that, especially bc my coworker had no idea.
•he really liked my sonny angel bag and said he wanted to get into blind boxes
Both of them were super sweet! And talked to us like we have been friends for so long. It was nice just chatting w them about silly stuff like blind boxes, how their days have been, how they like Florida, all that good stuff. :)
