#neon genesis evangelion#evangelion#kawoshin#kaworu nagisa#shinji ikari#Neon Genesis Evangelion was a spiritual experience#I find it so funny that it took me over two decades and some change to actually buckle down and see it#I think my favorite part is that I somehow managed to be virtually entirely spoiler free the entire time#like#managing to make it into the big 2025 without anything revealed to me is a feat in and of itself but the binge was incredible#at multiple points throughout my life I had numerous opportunities to experience the series in its entirety but never took them until now#almost like I was born to watch this with my Hubby#beyond this#such a fucking gorgeous artpiece#I love how the noses accentuate both character's traits and likenesses#the rigidity and sharpness of Kaworu as this alien beauty#contrasted with the sappy softness of Shinji in his truest ecstasy#I love the LCL tears#I love the stealth size#I love the way Kaworu is glancing so knowingly and lovingly at that tiny radial aura of a halo and it's absolutely delighting me#I love my husband so much#and I love the magnificent beautiful instrumentality of humanity distilled into a gilded golden gauze wrapped around everything he creates#hehehehehehehe
