Like... most of Virgil's existence was his function and person both being attacked and devalued. After Accepting Anxiety, his function and person were both respected and valued simultaneously. Virgil wasn't taught to view them differently. To him, if your function is valid, then your person is valid. If your function is invalid, then your entire self is invalid and reprehensible. There's no tangible difference between the two for him.

That's where Logan comes in the tired teacher at an under founded school. Who happens to work at a fast station after school. One day he's checking out some edgy guy who randomly asks about the effects of cigarettes and alcohol. And Logan of course informed him about it, that then the question was asked.

"would you like to be my sugar baby?"

Logan was shocked,flabbergasted who asks someone that? His perfection must have been evident to the other man. Logan quickly stones his face.

" you know I've heard you usually ask someone to dinner before questions like that." He faces an eyebrow to emphasize his point. The man looks guilty and like he is about to defecate himself, good, just where Logan wants him because who asks that?!? Especially a cashier? What if he was a high school student? The man is clearly over the age of 18.

" I KNOW I- UHG I'm just going to go about your hair alright-" the man clumsily digs through his pocket for cash. He throws two, two hundreds on the check out counter, Logan felt his heart speed up that's enough to cover the rest of his rent for the month. The man squeaks out an apology before rushing to the door.

Logan grabs the man glaring into his soul."were you serious?" He pulls the darker man towards himself.

The man looks on the verge of a panic attack,but Logan has bigger things to worry about he'll feel guilty later. The man looks into his eyes pleading confused.

"of course I'm sorry, I don't mean to blurt that at you! Not that there is anything wrong with you i-" he cuts himself off Logan lessens his grip and looks into his eyes." No before that when you asked if I wanted to be your sugar baby" Logan readjust his grip. " Sorry for not clarifying beforehand." He rubs circles into the taller anxious shaking arms maintaining his gase.

The man gains a look of clarity, his shoulders don't hold this much tention.
