Bridgewater is so good... I light some candles, pour some wine, turn out the lights, and lay there comfy in the bed with my eyes closed and just let the story wash over me. It's so relaxing, I love the story and I don't even have to watch or think, I just get whisked away by the words into a different world where me and my friends in this world are trying to solve the mystery of this man's trauma and this strange place. And the best part is it's a real place full of real legends and odd disappearances. The mystery is here, in our world, and it's real and tangible. This is a level of escapism and love for life that's entirely new to me.
It's a gem of a podcast AND it's created by a tumblr user who always writes adventures and puts queer characters, poc, and women of all kinds in all their stories every time, and really explores and captures the nuance and the longing of every experience that fits so well and hits so hard. So we have some even more amazing things coming here. There's no queerbaiting here, this podcast is exactly what it says it is.
And these characters are so beautiful and full and whole.
