In the new Doomsday trailer theyโve shown at sdcc, theyโve included EXACTLY the same clip of Lokiโฆ (sigh) Poor darling, heโs only going to have one scene in the whole film and then heโll die, even though heโs the god of stories and should be at the forefront of the universe. How sad.
In fact, being a Loki fan means being emotionally resilient and patient. In every project featuring the character, heโs suffered or been killed off. The number of times weโve had to say goodbye to him and believe it was all over. So letโs not even imagine how Tom Hiddleston must have felt each time, knowing that he loves his character just as much as we do.
His death in *Infinity War* is still a traumatic moment even in 2026 for me, and his umpteenth sacrifice โ being stuck in a tree forever โ really took its toll on my mental health. I love Loki so much, sorry, but I canโt bear to see my favourite character go through this yet again โ having his heart ripped out or whatever โ whether through sacrifice once again or whatever rubbish theyโre making us swallow, count me out.
When the film *Doomsday* comes out, Iโll look up every spoiler I can find to find out, and if thatโs the case, I wonโt go and see the film at all. Even though heโll probably be brought back to life in *Secret Wars* (letโs all keep our fingers crossed), but until then, that's it.
