Thank you for the tags! Fist fighting writer’s block and finally broke through by updating One More Chance! Here’s a snippet that is about 2 or so chapters away… >:)

Loki stared at Thor, speechless.

“I know I said we should part ways, that I thought we would fight side by side forever. You’ve shown me now that we can.”

“How…”

“You are an oath keeper now. And greater than that. Mobius may be the reason you and I are alive, but you are the reason any of this exists.”

“It wasn’t me.”

“It was a Loki. You are the one that protects this multiverse. Every me, every you, every Jane and Darcy and Valkyrie. They all get to live because of the God of Mischief.”

Loki’s eyes watered.

“There is no reason to doubt why Mobius loves this version of you too,” Thor said warmly.

He eased Don against his chest and Don grumbled endearingly at the movement, butting his head up underneath Loki’s chin.

Don was fast asleep, and so, it was safe.

“I love you,” Loki whispered.

Don didn’t move or blink or speak in response, he simply snored peaceably, snug against Loki’s chest as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

It was, for them.

Don was his other half, his peace and the one person who accepted him, every version of his body and soul.

As Don slept, Loki touched his hair, running his fingers through the silver layers.

“I love you with everything I am,” Loki said quietly, “And I will tell you. I promise.”
