đđŽ Seashell Divination II đđŽ
đ¸ Another random idea at work again! Hereâs part 2 of my seashell divination series! Iâve been trying to develop this method for some time, this method works best if you only read between 1~5 shells when divining them. I only use the major arcana to assign the shells since 22 shells is quite enough rather than using all major and minor arcana cards and assigning them all which is waay too much! đ¸
đŻď¸ Things youâll need: đŻď¸
⢠Basket of mixed shells or select the shells on the list below!
⢠Cloth, hanky or dolly to cover the basket
⢠Herb bundle or sage/rosemary incense
⢠Seashell correspondence list
đ Cover and pick method đ
⢠Ask your question. Cleanse, cover and gently shake the basket close your eyes and pick your shells . Pick between 1 or 5 shells for better reading. You dont wanna pick more than 5 otherwise thereâs too much frustration.
⢠If the shells you picked has an open mouth or the hole is up itâs a reversed meaning. Closed mouth or the hole is facing down you can just read the shell as it is! Â
đ˛ Tossing method đ˛
⢠ Ask yourself a question. Cleanse, shake and gently toss the shells on the mat. Letâs say Iâm doing a 3 shell reading.(you can pick shells between 1~5) Â
Iâll chose one shell thatâs nearest to me and the second shell in the middle and third shell farthest away from me then divining your shells
⢠When picking your shells you donât want to turn the mouth or hole facing downwards leave as it is! Since this is a reversed meaning.

~Latin for Witches (and a Spell in Latin)~
Lesson I â Introduction
We all love Latin. Latin is a majestic, beautiful and undoubtely melodic language. Itâs based on Ancient Greek and it has been used for magical purposes for centuries. Lots of witches up to this very day use it for their magical workings, spellwork, rituals, incantations, etc. As we all know all romance languages (spanish, romanian, portuguese, french, italian, etc) originate from Latin, so if you happen to be a native speaker of one of the above languages, Latin is going to be a piece of cake for you. However, even if your mother tongue IS English, Latin is going to be fairly easy for you, too, so GOOD NEWS HERE. In fact, most english words originate from Latin, and some of them are precisely the same in english (words like status, ego, etc). But letâs cut to the chase, shall we?
We all know thereâs something special, something majestic, something mystical, something mysterious about this language. So itâs no coincidence that people have been using Latin for their magical workings for so long. If youâre someone who does not practice Magick, you, too, are welcome to join us and learn Latin. If youâre someone who does practice Magick, youâre at the right place, because we will start from the very basics, and we will be crafting up spells in Latin from the very first lesson. SAY YES IF YOU LOVE THAT !YES, you read that right. So, letâs START at once and have some FUN!
OK. I do not like rambling so simple things first.
In Latin there are no articles whatsoever. So, no articles.
In Latin, the genders are three, masculine, feminine and neuter. Keep that it mind. We will not be focusing on grammar here so I wonât be boring you with it. But just keep that it mind for now but do not memorise anything. RightâŚ
~SECRET TIPS AND TRICKS~ (Again, do not memorise anything. Just read, practice and have FUN since very soon you will be able to give your spells a very special and sophisticated⌠flavour.)
The Letter E is ALWAYS pronounced âEHâ as in TELL
The Letter C is always pronounced K as in crazy, crisp, cool NEVER like cease, cemetary.
The Letter I is always pronounced EE as in SIT, never like kite, spike.
The Letter G is always pronounced G as in great, garbage, never like gem, gibberish
ALL the other letters are pronounced exactly the same we pronounce them in English. SO, thatâs easy to remember.
The very basics now: Letâs start:
Ego = I (pronounced EH-goh)
Tu = You (singular) (TOO)
Ille = He (EE-leh)
Nos = We (NOHS)
Vos = You (VOHS)
Now the verb to be⌠which is:
Ego sum (EH-goh SOOM) = I am | Ego sum Jason = I am Jason
Tu es (TOO â EHS) = You are (sing.) Tu es dives (TOO EHS DEEV-ehs) = You are rich
Ille est (EE-leh EH-st) = He is Ille est maleficus (EE-leh EHST ma LEH fee koos) He is a witch
Nos sumus (NOHS SOO-moos) Nos sumus malefici: We are witches. (NOHS â SOO-MOOS mah-LEH-fee-keeh) We are witches
Congratulations! You have just learned the verb to be and most personal pronouns. Easy, isnât it? Well, Latin IS easy AND FUN!!! Letâs continue, but enough with introductions, letâs dive right in and check out an actual spell written in Latin. After we do that, we will be able to make our very own.
~COMMON WORDS that we use in magick and spells:
So mote it be (sic fiat) =( SEEK FEE-aht)
Voco = I call upon/ Summon = (VOH-coh)
Maleficus = witch (male âliterally: evil-doer) / Malefica (female) Mah-LEH-fee-koos / Mah-LEH-fee-kah
Volo = [VOH-loh] I want
Prosperitas = Prosperity (proh-SPEH-ree-tahs) (the letter âIâ is ALWAYS pronounced âeeâ as in tee-hee LOL)
Habeo = HAH-beh-oh I have
Omnia = OHM-nee-ah = everything
Venite = Come! (imperative, plural form â command) VEH-nee-teh
Fortuna = Luck ( fohr-TOO-nah)
Dives = Rich (DEE-vehs) Â and riches
Now⌠letâs see an actual spell, one that contains most of the above words. This particular spell is for luck, prosperity and abundance. Letâs take a look.
Fortuna, Prosperitas et Abundantia Habeo Omnia. Pecunia venit ad me. Habeo omnia. Fortuna, Prosperitas et Abundantia Omnia, quae volo, Habeo(X3) Pecuniam, Fortunam, Abundantiam(X3) Dives sum, Totus sum, Habeo Omnia, Habeo Omnia, Habeo Omnia. Fortunam, Prosperitatem, Abundantiam Mel, cinnamomum et saccharum. Fortunam, Prosperitatem, Abundantiam Habeo omnia, quae volo, Habeo, Habeo, Habeo. Mel, cinnamomum et saccharum. Luxuriam, Prosperitatem et Abundantiam Dives sum, Omnia Habeo. Attraho pecuniam. Attraho opes, Attraho omnia, quae volo.X3 Habeo Omnia. Totus sum. Fortuna, Prosperitas et Abundantia. Pecunia venit ad me. Attraho dives. Attraho pecuniam. Attraho prosperitatem. Habeo omnia quae volo. SIC FIAT(X3)
Let us see what we already know and what is unknown. Most of the words used, you can definitely guess their meaning.
Fortuna, Prosperitas et Abundantia Habeo Omnia.
Fortuna = Luck
Prosperitas = Prosperity
Abundantia = Abundance
Habeo omnia = I have everything
Pecunia venit ad me
Pecunia [peh-KOO-nee-ah]= Money
venit [VEH-neet] = comes / is coming
ad me [Ad MEH]= to me
Omnia[OHM-nee-ah], quae[KWEH] volo, Habeo
Omnia = everything
quae volo = that I want
Habeo = I have
Mel, cinnamomum et saccharum.
Mel = honey
cinnamomum = kee-nah-MOH-moom => Cinnamon
saccharum = SAHK â hah âroom => sugar
Attraho = ah-TRAH-hoh => I attract
Easy, isnât it?

It might be worth noting that in Classical Latin, the consonant âVâ is always pronounced with the âWâ sound. Thus, âVocoâ is [WOH-coh], and so on. It wasnât until the shift to Ecclesiastical (Church) Latin, or what is considered Medieval Latin, that the letter âVâ was pronounced as [V]. Might be helpful to those sticklers reciting Latin from ancient sources.Â
Hereâs a short but handy pronunciation guide http://www.omniglot.com/writing/latin2.htm
Find A Lost Item Spell
This is perhaps my favorite spell ever. Whenever I loose an item that I canât seem to find and I have apples on hand I do this spell. I have done this twice so far and both times itâs worked beautifully.
You will need:
Extreme concentrationÂ
SilenceÂ
A appleÂ
Bowl of water
What to do:
Peel the apple with a knife. After the apple is completely peeled place the peal in the water while chanting:
âEye of water, go back in time. Summon those which can not hide. I call to thee find what has been lost and send to me through struggle and thoughtâ
đĽ | âLay my body from stem to stern, let the cunning fire burn,  and stir my spirit within my mouth.  Through the chimney Iâll go out,  out to catch the northern star,  out to fly where spirits are,  out to catch the moon and sun  and drink from where the Ichor runs. Fire stirs within my head,  while all the world lies half-dead.â
Is hedge witchcraft or related trance work operative?
Operative witchcraft is any witchcraft that DOES shit -practically-. Get money, heal a sickness, curse a past lover, steal milk, get a bountiful harvest, that sort of thing. In trance work, you can go down to the spirits and negotiate something with them to do any of these things. You can fly forth in spirit to bring curses or healing to someone. You can go find money in the Underworld (treasure hunting) with the help of a spirit (Grimoires full of these) and bring it back into the waking world.Â
Trance work is not always about more âhigh mindedâ magic. Sometimes you need to go over there to get stuff done.Â

There are experiences of landscape that will always resist articulation, and of which words offer only a distant echo. Nature will not name itself. Granite doesnât self-identify as igneous. Light has no grammar. Language is always late for its subject... But we are and always have been name-callers, christeners. Words are grained into our landscapes, and landscapes grained into our words.
The Word-Hoard: Robert MacFarlane on rewilding our language of landscape
The Crossroads
The Crossroads are an infinitely powerful place â where the planes collide, the worldly nexus and the paths of decision. While always related to the actual crossing of roads, the symbolic nature of the Crossroads extends far beyond â even in the physical plane. The nexus include far more than the mere crossing of paths, but present at many â both naturally and made-made â destinations. Below you will find a (non-comprehensive) list and a brief description of how they apply to the Crossroads and what work might be done most efficiently at the particular junction.
Physical Crossroads
âXâ and âTâ Crossroads
This grouping includes the Crossroads in its traditional sense â as the crossing of roads in an âxâ or â+â formation. These, of course, are well documented and are usually what is being discussed when talk of crossroads come up. These can be specified â for instance: a crossroad at the edge of town, in the woods, etc., all of which have their own, unique connotations. Their âsisterâ crossroads is the T crossroad (alt. âYâ) â which is still prevelantly known. These are my personal favorite, being an adherent to Quimbanda â these Crossroads are held sacred to Pomba Gira. They offer a more concise, selective and direct crossroads energy â as they only offer 3 roads, two choices, the forward option rendered entirely void. In this capacity, there is no option but to change. You cannot continue as you are, but instead must choose a new path â change at its greatest.
Bridges
These are much like the traditional crossroads, though there is a minor planar separation. As the water and the bridge never transect. In this capacity, you have a path or tangent that is not wholly present, but guiding. From above they appear to intersect, but from the ground we see they do not and cannot â though this doesnât make them any less useful. It is at these places that change can be made fluidly. Where as the âTâ crossroad is (arguably) the most severe, change-bring crossroad, this the the least so. As such, this one is not so much about bringing in the new, but freeing yourself of the old. Symbolically, spirits were always said to be unable to cross running water â in this case, there is a part of you that you feel needs to be relinquished, one you will not permit to cross the water with you. This is the cross of letting go of that which need be so.
Railroad-Track Crossings
Again, similar to the above to entries, these represent more traditional crossroads. These can be broken down into two, separate sets of places:
Where Tracks Cross a Road: These can be used as a symbol for a path that is fixed, continuous and unstoppable. The train will continue, it is your responsibility to stop. This can be a place to work rituals for motivation, drive and success â or alternately, to learn patience. Sometimes the only, real option is to sit and wait â there is strength in patience, these places might allow for this realization.
Where Tracks Cross Tracks: A recipe for disaster. Two, headstrong, unstopping forces are doomed to collide. While the former has the potential to grant motivation, this one is the reality of too much or counterproductiveness. These places are great for working curses that breed devastation, and chaos working from all sides. Place a penny at the junction, allow it to be flattened and collect it to use in particularly nasty curses.
Property Corners
Thatâs right, little did you know you had a Crossroads (literally) in your own backyard! At each of the corners of your property, where four plots meet, there is a crossroads. These, naturally, are best used for things relating to the home â protection, finance, martial issues, health and well-being. Probably not the best to use these to call up Crossroads Spirits or make any Faustian Deals.Â
Cemeteries
The liminal space of the dead on the plane of the living â these are the sites where the dead interact (in great number) energetically with our plane, building a nexus of sorts. Naturally the larger the cemetery, the more effective this nexus becomes (hereâs looking at you, New Orleans). Itâs not enough that they exist spiritual in one place, but its that they exist as both physically and spiritual distinct in the location â their spirit and body exist, but no longer bound, working in a sort of intersecting movement. To no oneâs surprise, these are the places most fitting work with the Dead, bridging the planes, communion with the spirits, etc. Itâs also little surprise that many Cemetery Spirits have numerous correlations to their Crossroads counterparts.
Churches
Thatâs right, churches, too are liminal spaces â wherein the Divine (of which ever sort) ground to the earth and form a crossroads. These are obviously most fitting religious works â divine paths, orchestrating change with the help of the Divine, resolution to crises of faith, etc. As for curses go, these same qualities can also be harness to bring about crises of faith and repurpose the energies for more malignant works.Â
Metaphorical Intersections
Doorways
While at first thought, one might assume that doorways would be much like a âTâ crossroad of not more severe â as there is but one path that may be taken. This, however, symbolically is not the case. While we know a closed door will always open to the same place here, spiritually thatâs never a guarantee. In fact, doors have the capacity to connect all things. One door may lead to any other. But be warned, doors  go both ways â be careful where it leads, for it will also lead back.
Hands/Feet and Mouth/Ears
Hands and feet are the intersection of the mind and the physical. It is they who move us, connect us, or create from our mind something on this plane â such as art, writing, gesture. Mouths bridge mind to mind through verbal communication â what the mouth sends, the ear receives and the mind interprets. As such, all of these things occupy a sort of liminal space.
Cosmic/Season Crossroads
Twilight
Twilight is the bridge from day to night, a time of change â a commingling of both of their characteristics. Depending on what you seek, these can be used as a way to gain insight. For illumination, enlightenment utilize dawn â allow the sun to bring light to the darkness. For understanding, self discovery or occult knowledge, use dusk â wherein the preconceived notions of day fall away to reveal the hidden truths of night.
Midnight
The minute when one day ends and the next begins â colloquially referred to as âthe witching hour,â it is a time between time. This can be used for many works â though, when I utilize midnight, I use mid-night. The time at the middle of when the sun sets and rises â the darkest part of night, when it is at its strongest, after is has waxed, but before it has waned.
31st day
Like Twilight and Midnight, this is time related â a place between months, a time for change. These can be utilized much like more regular New Years: a time to make resolutions, enact change and bring anew/cast out the old. As such, theyâre good for exorcisms and rebirth.
There are countless other options, but I chose to note the ones Iâve been known to use. Iâd love to hear and see what some of all know to be unconventional crossroads!

Do you know something about your past life? And do you think past life regressions and spells really work or it's impossible to get there at all? Also do you think we only reincarnate as humans in this world or we can be anything in any world? Sorry so many questions, but I really want to know your take on these things because your opinion means a lot to me. Thank you!
Yes, I believe in reincarnation. Heaven and Hell are just different pots filled to the brim with of souls. Those pots overflow and spill back onto Earth. Some souls never go to a place. Some souls wait for the chance to jump into whatever body is ready for them. Some souls are cursed to repeat their life over and over again. Some souls are locked away and not allowed to return. Some souls have a Well on Earth that they linger in.The list goes ever on. I believe that when a soul returns, it can inhabit any body it wishes.I find it difficult to put much merit into most methods of past life regression. I think that itâs something that may or may not be disproven as the science of psychology develops. However, I do hold some truth to it. I think that when paired with dreams, visions, and divination, it can yield truth. Iâve had numerous incidents of dreams and readings that gave what was possibly past life information. It was about as believable as my life is now, and for that reason, I keep it locked away. It was cross checked through different methods and they yielded the same results. Still, I question the authenticity of such information.Â
What's the best term for traditional fae? Because there is fairy, fae, faeries and I think that some words are used more but I don't know which, thank you.
I donât know that there is any standard.
There isnât really. But letâs take a look at the words themselves. Generally speaking, âfairyâ (plural fairies) is the noun referring to the being and may also be used as an adjective, whereas âfaeâ (variant of the Middle French feie, fee) in current parlance is frequently, though not always, used to refer to fairies collectively, or the collection of fairy races.
The word âfaerieâ has been most commonly understood to refer to the realm of fairies (i.e., Elphame, fairyland), or âof the realm of fairies.â Both OED and Merriam-Webster agree: Faerie, from the Old French faerie (circa 1188), was reintroduced into English in 1590 by Edmund Spenser in authoring the Faerie Queene; also used as a pseudo-archaic variant of fairy.
The word âfaery,â a variant of faerie (faie + -erie; Modern English -(e)ry), is an archaic or poetic spelling often used as an adjective (e.g., faery magic. faery glen). Note the suffix -ery is used to express a practice or type of activity; a place or establishment; things collectively; a state or condition; qualities collectively, and actions â as in archery, bakery, greenery, knavery, trickery, witchery, etc.
When artist Brian Froud came along, he took to using the more archaic spellings of faery (singular noun, adjective) and faeries (pl.) when referring to the beings in his works. The notoriety of his work along with a few others has contributed greatly to the popularization of those spellings.
I have observed a recent development on the internet where people have attempted to assert a distinction in meaning between the spelling âfairiesâ and âfaeries,â claiming the former refers to the romanticized post-Victorian  depictions of fairies as sweet, delicate beings with wings, while the latter refers to the darkly wild beings more true to folklore. While I understand how some might consider this a useful distinction to make, as far as I can see it has no basis in the actual historical usage or etymology of those words. Some have even gone further to suggest this supposed distinction between fairy and faerie is arrived at through different etymological roots. While fairy [ca. 1300, Middle English, fairie, (denoting fairyland, or fairies collectively): from Old French faerie, from fae (âa fairyâ) + -erie, from Vulgar Latin FÄta (âthe Fatesâ), plural of the Latin fÄtum (âfateâ)] has its roots in Latin, they claim the word âfaerie,â with its supposed darker or wilder connotation, is actually arrived at through the Gaelic fear sidhe (âman of the fairy moundâ). I havenât seen anything solid to support this claim, so I remain skeptical. Perhaps some of my mutuals with a better background in Gaelic could shed more light on this notion
I can attest that I personally make no such distinction, on this blog or elsewhere. Whether I use the word âfairy or âfaeryâ or âfaerie(s),â I am referring to the same beings as they have traditionally been described in folklore, in all their various forms and natures.
Then, of course, we have other traditional names for fairies collectively, such as the Fair Folk, Good Neighbours, or the Gentry. The last is generally reserved for the more noble and aristocratic denizens of Faerie, i.e., the trooping fairies (Yeats, Fairy and Folk Tales of the Irish Peasantry, 1888). Bear in mind, though, that monikers like âFair Folkâ and âGood Neighboursâ are sometimes applied in a euphemistic or appeasing fashion. That is to say, they have been used to characterize the way we would like these beings to behave toward us. How they actually choose to behave may be an entirely different matter.
