Given the situation of the shadow world, Jayce would have thought at least the downworlders would present a more united front or would lay off of stupid skirmishes but that didn’t seem to be the case. He wasn’t even too far from Hunter’s moon. Walking down on his way home he realized he was being followed. That was verified when a bunch of vampires appeared before him too, sneering at him. They didn’t look like they were in the best of moods “Okay so I might not look like much but I can cry real hard” he smiled at them all, taking calculated steps away “C’mon you guys seriously don’t wanna do this. Didn’t Valentine kill enough werewolves for y’all” All the while he was looking for an easy way out.
In between the work he was doing for his clan and what was going on with Simon, Raphael often kept his ear to the ground in the city. If something was happening, he wanted to be one of the first to know about it so that he could take the correct steps to protect the people in his circle. Naturally this meant that sometimes he came across things that were no less threatening by any means, things that put vampires and the clan in danger with their actions. This was one such moment. “You appear to have gotten in over your head...” The vampire spoke out from the shadows, slowly moving forward into the light. “You should really think about your next move carefully.” Though whether he was speaking to the rogue vampires of the young boy was anyone's guess.
