so why is “white” exclusively #FFFFFF but “blue” is whatever you want it to be? Since when is that how colors work? Would you call any white that isn’t #FFFFFF a very light shade of another color?

Also behold, the brightest and therefore least effected part of the reaper by WATER HAZE because brighter/more reflective things hold their color better through water because more light from it reaches your eyes. And wouldn’t you know it, it’s TAN.

Almost like the devs pre-shaded the textures to help sell the underwater atmosphere, so when your eyes correct for light diffusion through water and deep sea darkness, your brain processes white.
