Have you ever been addicted to sleeping with someone? Not sex. Just sleeping. My boyfriend has a unique sleeping habit (or at least it’s the first time I’ve encountered it) that I have affectionately dubbed “the all consuming”. Basically, when we sleep, at some point, he’ll end up wrapping us so completely together I don’t know where I start and he ends. This has become my most favorite part of the day. I have come to crave this small act of intimacy. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I couldn’t stay over this last week. I’ve been irritable, a little more jealous and insecure than lately, physically sick (as in a head cold) and just over all stressed and melancholy. I finally got to sleep over and waking up this morning it’s like all my issues are gone. I woke up to the normal all consuming and could feel the love radiating off my boyfriends sleeping form, not to mention his absolutely sweet habit of mumbling he loves me between sleeping positions, or dropping a kiss on my shoulder or back ever so often. And don’t even get me started about the wake up. He’ll plop his whole body on top of mine (because I’m almost always up before him) and fall back for a minute or two while I scratch his back. And then he wakes up (not fully) and will give me every kiss in the book. It’s just one of those moments I think I’ll cherish forever.

Things have never felt so right. It’s like I’ve been holding my breath all this time and then he showed up like a blast of the freshest spring mountain air🥰
