My entry for the newly-released Monster Hunter zine! It was a ton of fun to be a part of this project with so many other talented creatives. I worked hard and enjoy how this piece came out.

The primary thing I wanted to capture was commonality between hunter and monster, as both are doing the same thing/exhibiting similar behaviors (and Talini--my hunter, depicted here--is always aware of that!). At the same time, I also wanted to convey the awe that one might feel coming across something like this in the wild!

yep, the glasses are just to appear more human-like! theyre purely for fashion

(although he pretends to use them sometimes by moving his eyestalks behind the lenses, but thats just to be silly- theyre entirely useless)
