Question:
Would people prefer a just photos blog? Like, we tend to yap when we post, but I can see some people just wanting to look at or reblog the photos without the text.
If anyone wants that, (or if I just decide to), I'll make a second blog where it's the same photos, but just photo and plush ID, no yapping.
Just a thought, but feel free to reply and lmk if that's something you'd prefer (or not!)
Bad photos because I cannot be fussed, but I need to make more of this hat. We made it for a furby like 2 or 3 years ago and it's one of my favorite things to put on our plushies ever.
I really love how it looks on Lumi though. Just like, looks like it was made just for him.
Also, we did make a pattern for making this hat (this one doesn't have the pompom and we went around and around until it was slouchy enough). It can be adjusted to any size. It's the first pattern we ever wrote, so apologies if there are any issues or what have you, but if you wanna make it, it's here: (furby photos warning btw)

Just got one of our last grails. There are a couple more that we want to get at some point, but this little one is one we have wanted for a couple of years and finally decided to get.
He looks like Void Puppy and Lumi had a baby (they're brothers though, so he may become the third brother...). I'm a little worried about his texture, which is part of why we haven't nabbed him sooner. But it finally felt like the right time (plus this one is in really good condition and I love his face!)
Definitely going to restuff him once he is home.

Lumi got a few new piercings! We pierced his bridge (need to order some large spikes for it) as well as giving him three ear piercings. The two studs in his left ear and a hidden one in his right.
The hidden one is a yin-yang. Creatures of light tend to have superiority issues and often show prejudice towards creatures of shadow and darkness. Lumi is an exception to this, as he recognizes that light and dark are two sides of a coin. To represent his beliefs in the balance of the two, he has a small yin-yang earring that is usually hidden by his hair as such a thing is taboo among other creatures of light.
Should we be asleep?
Yes.
Are we instead dressing Lumi up in pajamas and taking way too many photos?
...also yes.

I love Lumi (Douglas Fluffy Pomeranian). We made him a little lighter and floppier and gave him a little iridescent heart. I don't know what kind of material it is, but it's sort of translucent white and irridesces rainbow. Lumi is a creature of light. So, giving him that heart felt right.
Lore dump under the cut (it's long, we are sleepy, had to take pain meds, and have a child alter up, so...is a lot, sorry x.x

He looks like an ancient guardian spirit that actually has no idea what he is supposed to be doing. Does he even know he exists? Gentle giant energy. I'm so done with Jellycat, but if I can, I'm getting him.
He is clean! They feel so much better now. Bath was definitely much needed.

Void Puppy is in the wash. I've washed him before and I know he will be fine (we have a heatless dryer), but I still feel anxious while I wait for him to finish.
But he really needed a deep clean. We sleep cuddling him. Normally, we don't sweat at night. We have some skin issues and don't really sweat normally. But, we got a new blanket recently and woke up drenched a few nights in a row. Not sure why it made us sweat so badly, but we don't sleep with it anymore. But, as a result, Void has felt a bit dirty. Today, we are spending a bit more time with Lumi, so finally felt comfortable being away from Void long enough for them to get clean.
But ugh, it's been less than an hour and I'm so done waiting >..<

No one has to prove themselves to you if they are “allowed” to use the term, someone’s medical history and disability aid use is not something you need to know unless they wanna share
If you’re immediate reaction to someone saying they use a plush to help their disability is “prove it” I think you gotta sit down and think about why that is
it’s a similar thing with all disability aids, if you went up to someone using any aid asking them to prove themselves as disabled because they don’t look disabled enough to you to be using that aid, please work through your ableism
Even if you don't think their aid works, whatever it is, if they say it helps them, it helps them. It is not your place to dictate what someone is allowed to find support from
Hanging out with Lumi today. Put him in a lil hoodie and we are now trying to figure out food. I've been struggling to eat enough protein lately, so need to work on that.
I want to bond more with Lumi. We have always adored him, but it feels like our bond could be better. Will probably spend some time on his lore and just hanging out with him more.
(also it looks like he has lol hooves in that picture xD)
Also! I tried putting his embroidered mouth back and I still don't like it right now, so no mouth. Might try a more golden thread or something, but for now I just kinda love how he looks without any modification.

Got this hat for our dolls, but Void Puppy immediately stole it.
We got our first 20cm doll. We decided to get one for our littles, since there is finally a non-barbie style doll that we aren't afraid of (and we are sometimes afraid of barbies...x.x) She got here today and I cannot wait for Hannibal even more now! They are a lovely size and she is so, so cute. I'll link her unboxing below.
