My History with The Sims
I don’t typically like to talk about personal things here, but I felt the need to write this up for myself to remember my journey through the Sims games. I thought I’d go ahead and post it publicly if anyone was curious or wanted to read it. This might get a bit lengthy, so I’ll keep it all under a “keep reading” note.

The writing in the original Animal Crossing was GOLD! While I adore New Horizons, I can’t help but feel a lot of the personalities of characters have been watered down too much. I actually find myself laughing at the dialogue in this game.
I like my happy villagers in New Horizons, but they’re a bit too happy. I want to see some rudeness in my snooty and cranky villagers. As it is right now in New Horizons, everyone feels a bit bland and all the personalities just seem to blend into each other.
Nejire Hado in The Sims 4
I’ve been wanting to put together a nice edited picture of my Nejire sim for about a month now. I was waiting to do a Big Three group pic, but I’ve been off and on with Sims 4 lately, so I don’t know when I’ll get around to making Mirio and Tamaki. Instead I thought I’d edit up some pictures of sims I’ve already made. She was actually the first character model I ripped from MHA One’s Justice 2 the night the game released (made her sim that same night too!)
I FINALLY made a Cloud sim!
I’ve put off making him for far too long. Originally I wanted to make him in his Kingdom Hearts/ more anime style, but with the FF7: Remake releasing just the other day I figured I’d go with his more modern look.

hello!! may i ask what eyes youve used for your Cloud sim? been trying to find good mako-like eyes for my FF sims..
I didn’t download eyes for Cloud. I created my own eyes for my Final Fantasy sims. If I had to recommend some eye creators, I’d say check RemusSirion and PralineSims. They make some really gorgeous eyes. Also Simandy if you want a more colorful Maxis friendly style.
A few more Animal Crossing villagers as sims
This time I tried something a bit different and gave them fur skins and stuff. I tried really hard to make them look “cutesy” and not “creepy.” Definitely would’ve been easier to make them humanized like my Isabelle sim, but it was a fun little experiment.

Your sims look so good! Are you using a custom Reshade preset? Would you ever share it?
Thank you! 😸 Yes, I use my own ReShade presets. Two to be specific. One is fairly light on effects that I use for basic image editing, green screening, and can be used for gameplay.
The other is my primary ReShade, a super heavy frame destroyer that I use for taking pictures that I don’t want to edit. It could honestly use some fine-tuning because a lot of my effects are just doing the same thing putting a lot of un-needed strain on my system.
I’ve mentioned this in the past, but It’s also not exactly a drop ‘n play kinda preset. I tweak the settings around on it depending on the scene I am building. If you’re interested in downloading some ReShade presets for your own game, I’d have to recommend trying out some of Intramoon’s presets (she has a lot of amazing sets!)
