Now, I like darker yaoi or at least ones that make me cry a bit so if that's not your cup of tea, this probably won't be what you like, but I am currently reading Smells Like Green Spirit.
It's about a student named Futoshi Mishima who is relentlessly bullied for being gay. He likes crossdressing because it gives him some sense of freedom in his life.
He ends up losing a tube of lipstick and he finds out his main tormentor, Makoto Kirino, on the school rooftop trying it on one day because he had picked it up.
They both go through the ups and downs of trying to belong in a world that criticizes they're every move if it's not masculine enough.
If you like to cry, give it a go! I haven't finished it but I love it so far!
