“Is it?”

So you sat with me

And my heart raced

Just a little

You had a crazy look in your eye

A truth in your smile

Something I can't explain

Since she was a child, Spades looked to the sky in wonder. She wanted to know what it was like to flow with the wind, to be free and peaceful.

"We shall go to the city in the clouds." Her friend would tell her. "We will walk amongst the mist and swim in the sea of the sky."

She smiled.

"There is a palace for you up there, in the clouds." He proclaimed, "And from the terrace you will be able to see the entire world, and travel anywhere in sight."

"Will you come with me?" Spades questioned. "It would be very lonely there by myself."

"Come with you? I won't just come with you, I'll take you there!" He replied.
