I hate the fact that I can tell when something is written with AI, and I'm not popular enough for me to call the writer out on it nor can I actually prove it despite everyone I ask irl agreeing with me. All I can do is block and move on, but I feel sick to the stomach every time I realise that this person (assuming that I'm right and they actually do use genAI to write their 'fanfics'), is getting more kudos than me after having done nothing at all.

Writing is a form of human expression, so why are we erasing that with the use of shitty things like generative AI? What's the point of me being able to write when others can make something 'better' by just keying in some stupid prompt? It gets to a point where I know that I shouldn't be letting generative AI actually replace me, but all I can feel is that all my writing is pointless.

I know probably no one will ever see this, so I'm posting my rant here. I'm a massive tech boomer so idk how Tumblr works, sorry if the tags are wrong.
