Hopefully you’re doing okay. Regarding on the issues and situations we’re going through here in the camp,

Physically we get attacked sustaining injuries from beatings by homophobes. These are fellow refugees from different countries who are here due to wars mostly and some other reasons. Mostly our transgender sisters targeted on their way home from sometimes from shop or fetching water and this happens any time of the day.

Were starving for food, medication, firewood, shelters, water and other basic essentials for childrens at this moment so please donate our fundraiser if have some spare funds or..

As a gay man in East Africa refugee camps, surrounded by violence, having survived the ethnic perpetrated by homophobia in the early 2000s.

When the attacks broke out again in April 2026, I and colleagues started to document the violence. But quickly the violence became too extreme, and I was forced to flee for my life.

I felt that my duty is to spend my whole life defending and fighting for human rights.
