Peace be upon you, I never imagined I’d write a plea to the world like this… But today, I have no other choice.

My name is Abdel-Majeed. I’m a father to a baby girl who hasn’t even turned one 👶, and a husband to a patient, broken-hearted wife — she has nothing left but her tears and prayers.

We are now living under a sky raining fire 💥 and on a land with no food and no water 🚫💧. Hunger is eating us alive. The shelling never stops. Even the soup kitchens have closed 🚷 — And the only hope left is in the hearts of the kind and merciful ❤️.

I know the world is tired. I know everyone is struggling. But I am writing to you from deep pain — From the heart of a father with nothing left: No milk 🍼, no bread 🍞, not even a drop of hope.

A bag of flour here costs $600 💸. Can you imagine?

We don’t dream of meat 🥩 or fruit 🍎 — We just want a small piece of bread to silence my baby girl’s cries.

I cry in silence 😢 as I watch her tremble from hunger, while my wife tries to soothe her with the softest voice full of broken tenderness…

But love alone doesn’t feed. And it doesn’t protect us from the bombs 💔.

Please… Don’t scroll past. Even $5 could be the line between life and death.

I’m not asking for the impossible. I just want to keep my family alive. To give my daughter one more day…

The crossings boarders are closed again these days and war return in Gaza.

The crossing through which food enters has been closed for more than 30 days. We have nothing to eat, and even if we do, the prices are exorbitant. Some of the prices listed are:

1 kg of meat = $100

1 chicken = $70

1 kg of fish = $100

1 bag of flour = $200

1 kg of cooking gas = $150

1 kg of sugar = $15

1 kg of eggplant = $20

1 kg of tomatoes = $10

1 kg of onions = $25

Note to mention the other very expensive essential goods. I hope you will stand by me to get food.

We are currently facing an unimaginable and heartbreaking situation in Gaza. After receiving orders from the Israeli Forces to evacuate our area, we were forced to leave our tent, running for safety while bombs rained down around us. We fled with nothing, seeking refuge in another area that, unfortunately, is just as unsafe, leaving us exposed to constant danger.

Now, we are living in tent which needs new setting, enduring the cold, rain, and the constant fear of more attacks. The lack of basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical supplies is taking a heavy toll on us. Prices for essential goods have skyrocketed, and it’s becoming impossible to meet even the most basic needs for survival.

We are urgently asking for help. We need immediate support to provide food, shelter, medical aid, and funds to help us get through these difficult days. Without assistance, our survival is uncertain, and we are reaching out to anyone who can offer help in these desperate times.

I'm Areej I was an English teacher and a creative writer at we are not numbers

before war and everything change after October 7. Also I'm a creative writer at we are not numbers.

Also I am a mother of three children. We have lived through the war for a year and a half, and we have lost everything we own. My husband is a man who did not work. Before the war, I did not have a breadwinner or any source of income. During the war I didn't give up to teach so I volunteered and had good chance to help some students to get engaged again with English in a very creative way.

We are in tents for almost two years‼️🥺

After our several evacuation from place to another.Now we don't have a house after it was destroyed by missiles. I now ask you to help me rebuild my house. And buy basics for the daily essentials for my children and I need money so that we can stand up again and start again.

This war wasn't easy at all it has taken many friends at work, students and some of my colleagues at the university. They are almost ten souls I won't never forget . Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:

😢 Loss: The absence of my students and my friends is really hurts.
