Hey, Folks, it´s bee a while. :3 Since I found some of my old Guildwars 2 sketches I decided to continue the classic login screen style. This time my Sylvari Elementalist Yggdrasil.

What happens when you start a conversation with your Guild about Sweet Treats Week from Guildwars1? Right, you talk about Golden Eggs and Chocolate Bunnies. Someone asked if there was a reason or story behind that loot back then and we couldn't remember so we started making up various reasons or events for GW2. At some point, my brain came up with something like a chicken raptor that lays golden eggs..yes... a chicken raptor (no mount) and yes it was late. The question came up what it would look like and I was like hold my beer! Grabbed my tablet pen and started sketching while talking. So here they are ...Glorious Chicken Raptors Happy Easter everybody.

Fanart of Sora from Kingdom Hearts. :) I felt like replaying this series and finished this artwork after getting into the mood again XD.

For those who are interested where this idea came from: The name of this staff is: "Lantern of Ahdashim". The Hidden City of Ahdashim was one of my most favorite places in Elona and before starting Path of Fire I returned to GW1 to get into the mood. I remembered discovering Ahdashim with my guild back then. The area was full of all kinds of djinns, riddles, and treasures ( especially the big treasure room where we wanted to jump into the sea of coins like Dagobert Duck XD) I tried to imagine what weapon could be hidden among those treasures and what it would look like. Maybe a trapped djinn in this lantern? In the end, I tried to combine the distinctive architecture of Elonian floating waterfall towers and oriental lamps so I decided to stick with this core idea. A lot of other ideas were floating around in my head too, and I wish I had more time to push those ideas further but I discovered this contest basically a few days before the end date. Maybe I will finalize my other weapon ideas to share them. :)

Hey, fellow watchers! Oh my god it´s been so long since I posted some stuff... The months passed in the blink of an eye. A lot of stuff was going on and I finally found the time to do some Guildwars 2 art again. So  I´m not dead guys only buried in projects. XD Nevertheless this time an artwork of my Charr ranger Alastor. :)
