Okay, my slimey little slimes... I have used almost every dating app under the sun to make friends. And by far taimi is my least favorite. Ill still use it when im bored but let me explain why. To start off taimi's ads are transphobic. Why you may ask? The adds pushed for cis men just sexualize trans women. I have seen taimi adds just sexualize trans women and even using words such as "Lady boy" in their ads (i apologize for the use of harsh words... Idk if this counts as a slur or not. But i apologize if it does)

Another reason is if a baddie lives near you, and matches all your preferences, you will have to pay to swipe right. For instance, im a polyamorous WLW genderfluid person who lives in the middle of big cities. These big cities are hours away from me. So after a while of swiping left on people who live between 50+ miles away from me this beautiful she/they polyamorous person pops up that is EXACTLY my type who lives 15 miles away.. fuckin score right? We also have so much in common! I want to swipe right but ykw.. I cant.. CAUSE IN ORDER TO SWIPE RIGHT ON PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY MATCH YOUR TYPE YOU HAVE TO PAY?!?!?! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!?! And yk whats more shitty. I believe the app can tell whos your type vs. Not your type cause I have gotten the free subscription on the app before just to see what changes... and holy shit the difference was crazy in who was matching with me. This also means if a lot of people swipe right on you and your deamed as attractive or a hot match, you will get less people naturally swiping right on you and more of these dumbass insta-chats that you have to pay for in order to get. Genuinely not trying to brag but i do have pretty privilege. I was an ugly duckling at one point, but after getting off birth control i lost a lot of weight, gained some muscle, lost my acne.. all of that. And i constantly just re-make accounts on this fuck ass app cause after a lot of people swiping on me it suddenly stops cause im a hot comedity... and i get these fuck ass trans chasers using their money to get an instant chat with me... wtf no. Just no. So once that happens i re-make the account again and start over. The app pushes people that arent your type on purpose to get you to pay to make connections and its fucking STUPID

Another reason i hate this app is oh my fucking god. No one is near you. Everyone hates on tinder but honestly as long as you stay away from the men you can actually make good connections cause it matches you with people really close. I met people 3-30 miles away from me on tinder. Gay as well. On taimi tho completely different story. Again same with the pay bs, it makes u pay to make genuine connections that includes finding people close to you. It gives me maybe 3 people tops that live close-ish to me then after that i get 60+ miles away. And dont tell me its because there isnt a lot of people on the app. Cause randomly ill find people that live like 15 miles away but makes me PAY?!

Another reason i hate taimi is because its a sess pool of people looking to get off. Men. Women. Couples. Non-binaries. A sess pool. And God forbid you put not looking for fwb on your acc. People just dont respect it. I believe this is because so many of there ads are sexualized. Its pushed out as a sexual app? While also being romantic "find your hott fem wifey today" vibes "find your masc butch lesbian who will love you and fuck you all day everyday" vibes. I shit u not thats the vibes the apps ads give. And the funny thing is it wasnt this bad back in the day! Before i would actually make AMAZING friends. Now i just use it to make small talk when im bored and dont wanna use my brain.

Queer person, I was like you once, lonely and trying out dating apps, I met my ex on Taimi, I have seen the horrors. The ads make it sound so great but I must tell you the cons before you waste your phone storage

• The minimum distance you can choose to look for people is 30 miles. Not 15, not ten, THIRTY. Which means you'll be shown people who live hours away from you and even out of state. This also means your location is always a good five miles off.

• The minimum age range you can choose (the lowest age gap you're okay with) is seven years which means you'll be shown people way older and younger than you. If you select that you like men your feed will be filled with men twice your age

• If the algorithm runs out of people to show you within your filters it'll bypass them without asking. After a while I was strictly shown lesbians.

• Every dating app has paywalled features nowadays but with Taimi you have to pay to see who liked you, to compliment people, to message people before they match with you etc etc. Basically to do anything besides look at people you have to pay

• Speaking of messaging if you stop talking to someone for whatever reason (either didn't click or moved to a different app or smth) it will harrass you to keep texting them

• Not an app issue but half the people on there are poly people looking for a 3rd, 50+ year old men, people with blank accounts or people who fuck up the filters by selecting every single sexuality option
