Childbirth is doable

Postpartum is manageable

But I felt I was never a good mom

I started doubting myself not being a good mom, not providing enough milk to the baby, not taking care of the baby as it deserves!

I was falling apart, sinking into anxiety and depression

Nobody cared about my mental health

The moment they gotta know its a girl, everyone eho wished to see me as a mom vanished.

They said girl means responsibility and expense

They see female child as a burden it seems!

None bothered what my life plan was, yet they stepped in and asked to get married!

None bothered if we were ready to be parents, yet they demanded to have children!

Why do people comment on someone when they don't really have a say on it??

Who said being older is license to involve in someones life decisions??

If you're 18, you can vote for choosing a government but not your own life partner, job nor decide on when to get married and have kids??

They said they'll be there for her, whenever she needs.

She was fighting all alone, and the moment she found her happiness,

I wish someday I could also be happy 😊

At natal home, they treat you as outsider as you are already married to another family

Raised by the people

Worked for the people

Loved and supported by the people

Now on, he is the textbook for us

The one who taught what is the true meaning of being democratic

The one who taught law and its protection is for all
