Work in Progress! The only shaping is in the neckline and for some reason the ribs still hug my body (which I like).
Deciding to add sleeves, pockets, and probably add to the neckline. And I'm quite sure I'll have enough left over to make a hat.
Having Knitter's Elbow from knitting and needing to rest it but you've always rested by knitting.
The struggle is real.
I got three big skeins of this red and blue boucle yarn a long time ago from a great aunt and I've been putting off knitting something with this because right when I saw it, it screamed, "GRANDMA SWEATERS FROM THE 80'S AND 90'S" and I made that face like my pic.
But I've finally concluded that I need to make Granny sweaters so I am doing just that right now. Finally watched The Amazing Spiderman (thoughts here) while starting this.
Making this one up as I go. Plan is to do a 2x2 rib all throughout bodice, fitted long sleeves, and a v-neck (because Hawaii and turtlenecks do not go together) and then maybe pick up and knit a shawl collar instead of the v-neck.
Super late post of this. I knitted this up before the ruffle bag, actually. I found an unused skein of vintage purple kid mohair at Savers for $2 and quickly knitted up this mobius cowl in garter stitch, stockingnette, and then garter stitch 1 1/2" strips.
Well, it is supposed to be a mobius except I twisted it twice instead of once while working this in the round and didn't notice this until I finished it and tried it on.
It is perfect for this wet weather in Kaneohe and it is so soft that I keep touching it when I can. It's almost as soft as my rabbit, Patoots!

Took apart the original project in Red Heart's Sashay and made this bag. :) Now I just have to find some silver cord and weave it into the top.
Earlier it looked like some kind of crazy bathing cap.
Knitting up ruffles for the 2nd time with Red Heart's new ruffle skein. First time knitting ruffles with this and i am loving how its coming out. First time I tried ruffles was with Cha-Cha but it was full of runs and holes and wasn't one full gauze strip. So much easier with this one.
Missed my bus because of traffic so I decided to kill 20 minutes at a Savers while I waited. Found a 110 yd skein of purple kid mohair, arcylic, nylon blend for 2$. Awww yeahhh. So stoked to knit with this. I'll probably make a beret or an ascot.
Making berets for my school's fashion show that's only a month away! Made this one out of the same yarn I had used for my Melaka tank. Its actually a k2tog, yo pattern that I winged on the spot. I do like how it came out and I may work out a pattern from it.
I've been really cranking out the knits right now. Made a new yellow beret a couple of days ago, and made a black beret earlier today before starting on this one.
Finished a purple beret for my Mom yesterday. Here's my bf posing for me (he was curious how a beret would look on him). He looks very French.

So a bit earlier from now I was curious to see how my Nightwing sweater was doing and decided to google it because I forgot 'Ravelry's' name and wanted to log in to Ravelry and I found this Reddit post.
I suddenly felt even MORE proud of making my Nightwing sweater. Probably because people now want it.
Ahhh the ego boost feels great.
Meanwhile, I haven't been knitting on account of I had so many projects going on that I don't know where all my needles are.
Ahahaha this blog is a mess.
Sorry
Someone just told me they tried out my Nightwing pattern and omg ;w; I'm too happy that someone tried it out that I'm going to get on correcting the pattern pronto.
Maybe I'll also make a bigger size up to ensure that the bigger sizes also work.
I made my bf a beanie a while back and he decided to wear it today. :D
I'm not going to finish in time.
Not if I want to redo the entire thing like I want to. I'll still work on it and post a pic when I finish. I want to make it well and I just failed at task management.
Oh well, I'll whip up Numbah 3, Superboy, or wear last year's dig dug in 2 hours.

Frantic rush to get this done because I didn't work on this over the weekend like I said I would.
Gahhh, Halloween is in 2 days!
So spoopy!
Worked an 8 hour shift of work today, on way to bf's place and I'm already at the armhole part of my top.
Looooking goooood
