Sarcastic Anachronism

I end up on the ground in those dreams a lot, trying to put my chair back together only to keep having the same problem. Or, last night, the caster wheels completely stripped off their central structure and bolts were sliding out and rolling away.

I'm not sure what it all means. Might be anxiety about the reliability of the chair; I'm due for a new one in January. But, in full honesty, I was having these dreams way before knowing I was due for upgrade.

I did have major issues with this chair, though... It's my first chair and it was built with a tweak in the frame. I was certain the pull to the left was on me, like maybe my one side was weaker than the other. But no, it was so subtly misaligned that my seating specialist was like "its highly unlikely its a warp." The chair was recalibrate completely by a technician and *still* pulled. Eventually I had to film videos for the manufacturer to replace it under warranty. Like I mentioned, It was also my first wheelchair experience. I didn't know any better.

Even with that, I think the dreams may also be a part of me struggling with being disabled... Struggling with the idea of degeneration and increased levels of my current normal (which is already *a lot*)
