This comic was inspired by: the purpose of making your own art in a world where AI image generators can churn out endless content for you, the way 3D software makes it easy to create infinite spaces but hard to capture authentic hand-drawn human touches, the way all my college art teachers were skeptical of the students’ desire to make anime-inspired stylized 3D visuals right up until it became the new trend in the animation industry—- and how easy it is to get so lost in the technical aspects of art & the consequences of failure that you lose sight of what art is even supposed to be for.

I don't understand why people call CTD "light and fluffy" compared to other WoD stuff. You are born inherently different, and the world doesn't understand. It will try to break you. And you can't let it. However, if you let your own differences take over, then you are going to be lost to madness. As somebody who is Neurodivergent and was exposed to attempts to change who I am and am STILL dealing with the fallout of people trying to train me to be "normal" it hits home. I do feel that CTL just... removed all that for another "oh you're no longer human and you can't go back" story. We got Vampire for that.

I'm nervous about everything but probably carwashes. I hate them, been scared of them since I was a kid. You go in this dark tunnel and a bunch of random arms and stuff grabs onto your car and sprays you down and you've just gotta deal with it, and if you forget to close something your wrecked :(
