My ex would go from making me feel like I wasn't putting in enough effort, to being wildly obsessed with me when I took a step back. It would be this cycle of cat and mouse and it was extremely toxic. 

Also - I'm pretty sure he thought he was way cooler than he was. Let's get one thing straight, he was just a textbook narcissist. 

I dated this girl back in 2011. We dated for 4 weeks and then broke up with me over a text saying “it’s not you it’s me.” - She ended up having a baby from a one night stand. At one point everyone though her baby was mine, but I cleared the air. Here is the crazy part. She messages me at least once or twice a year asking me how I’m doing. She says “I still have feelings for you. I wish I could get you back, you were the best thing that ever happened to me.”
