I really enjoyed this novel. When I picked up this book off of my mums bookshelf, for lack of anything to read on my own shelf, it was the opening description of Zakynthos that really drew me towards it. I listened to this novel as an audio book whilst in the garden and I have to say it did not disappoint. It had a lot more horticultural references than I first anticipated when choosing my newest audio book. Jane austen is without doubt one of my favourite authors, whether classic or modern.
