Jane austen is without doubt one of my favourite authors, whether classic or modern.

I think a major pull towards her work is that it is still so relevant 200 years on. How the thought and feelings of the heroines are still felt in the modern woman, and how we are all still searching for our Mr Darcey and trying to avoid those pesky Mr Wickhams.
