I hope all those news crews know I can see them from this window! And I’m NOT coming out and they’re NOT getting an interview!!

[pm] I don’t doubt your ability to protect yourself, but people don’t necessarily have to enter your home to do harm. Look at Big Brother.

[pm] That is true. But speaking of which, have you uncovered anything on this Big Brother guy? Trails, leads...anything new?

[pm] When someone looks into your room without your permission, it’s an invasion of privacy. They’re looking in on someone that’s supposed to be a safe place. Often, when people do this, they’re trying to catch momentary vulnerability. Very often, it’s done with no regard to the person’s feelings, or deliberately to hurt those feelings. 

[pm] You're right. That sounds bad, when you say it like that. But I don't think anyone would be able to sneak in my room. I would know. They wouldn't stand a chance, if they were trying to hurt me. Or anyone. 

If that was the case, you really should mind.

Oh, okay. But why? I thought that if I didn't do anything wrong I shouldn't mind?

Am I supposed to decipher that into something meaningful?

I don't understand. Isn't rent something you pay? What does it have to do with animal shelters?

Maybe. But my room isn't all that great. I don't mind if they want to see it.

RENT is not about citizens who work together to find a place with low cost rent so they could spend the extra money on an animal shelter.
