Eva Perón’s corpse was embalmed with glycerin to make it incorruptible. Her body later disappeared for 16 years before it was finally located, exhumed, and flown to Spain- where her husband, Juan Perón, and his 3rd wife, Isabel, cleaned it by hand and kept it openly displayed on their dining room table. Isabel then began combing Eva’s hair regularly as a daily devotion…
But it gets even weirder…
Her embalmer, Pedro Ara, was so meticulous that he preserved the body with all its internal organs, which are normally removed.
He also (allegedly) made several wax and vinyl replicas of Eva’s body, which were indistinguishable from the original, that the military later used to deceive those who sought the real corpse.
Evita’s body itself is profoundly symbolic of Argentina’s history.
The story of her remains does not end or begin here, because she was repeatedly moved around and displayed and ultimately placed in what is basically a nuclear bunker. She also got pretty banged up along the way…
The events that follow and precede this tiny snippet are fascinating; I encourage all history lovers to read more about it: Source Source 2

“According to ‘The Black Hen’ (another key book of magic) it was sufficient to take to a crossroads a black hen which had never laid eggs and at the stroke of midnight to cut it in two, murmuring ‘Eloïm, Essaïm, frugativi et appelavi’ and then to turn to the East and, with a branch of cypress in your hand to utter the ‘great call’ for the devil to appear and give the magician any reward he wanted.”

😌Magical Self-Care😌
Recently I have been really stressful and in the near future I need a little personal time. You know just me, a good book, a cup of tea and some self care.
In one of Arin Murphy-Hiscock’s book called ‘The Witch’s Book of Self-Care’ I found some good recipes which I’m gonne try as soon as possible!
🍪Vanilla Cookie Sugar Scrub🍪
This lovely scrub will make your skin so smooth and glowing! Plus it has amazing smell.
You need:
¼ cup coconut oil
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extrac
4-ounce glass jar or plastic storage container with lid
Additional: to make it smell more amazing, you can add a pinch of ground cinnamon or giner and allspice!
Additional: I gonna try to add some pumpkin spice to the scrub to make it smell like autumn!
How to do it:
Mix all the ingredients together in a small jar.
To use, massage onto skin
After rinse with warm water
Pat dry.
🌸Relaxing Bath Oil🌸
‘This is a lovely, all-purpose blend for relaxing in the bath. It’s good before bed, or when you need to unwind after a tense day at work.‘
You need:
Rose quartz stone ( Make sure the stone is small enough to fit in the bottle you intend to use.)
1 cup carrier oil of you choice
Bottle with lid
5 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops lavender essential oil
3 drops frankincense essential oil
2 drops sandalwood essential oil
White candle and candleholder
Matches or lighter
Label and pen or marker
How to do it:
Cleanse the stone
Pour the carrier oil into the bottle. Add the essential oils. Cap the bottle and gently shake to blend the oils.
Pour the carrier oil into the bottle. Add the essential oils. Cap the bottle and gently shake to blend the oils.
Let the candle burn down. Label the bottle
Allow the oil to rest at least a week, if possible, to develop before using.
To use, add 2–4 tablespoons to your bath and swish your hands around to help disperse the oil in the water.
🍚Magical Body Butter Blend: Serenity🍚
As you can see this blend contains jasmine, rose and lavender oil to create a blend that attracts balance and peace. The blue candle and amethyst, jade, and moonstone also work to underline peace and to calm stress.
You need:
1 recipe Body Butter
4 drops jasmine essential oil
4 drops rose essential oil
2 drops lavender essential oil
Pale blue candle and candleholder
Matches or lighter
Amethyst stone
Jade stone
Moonstone
How to do it:
Prepare the Body Butter as per the previous recipe, adding the jasmine, rose, and lavender oils where essential oils are indicated in the recipe.
When the Magical Body Butter is finished and placed in the container, bring it to your work space. Set the candle in the center of the work space, place the container of butter in front of it, and arrange the three stones in a semicircle in front of the container.
Light the pale blue candle, and say: Spirits of serenity, I invite you here. Lend to this butter your peace, your calm. May I be blessed by you each time I use it. .
Touch the amethyst and say, “Amethyst, I invoke your calm. Lend it to this butter.”
Touch the jade and say, “Jade, I invoke your tranquility. Lend it to this butter.” 6. Touch the moonstone and say, “Moonstone, I invoke your peace. Lend it to this butter.”
Sit at your work space with your eyes closed, breathing deeply, sensing the calm around you. When you feel it is right, you may extinguish the candle and leave, or allow the candle to burn down completely to continue to charge the butter.
🌼Herbal Tea Hair Rinse🌼
Just as an addiction I added my herbal hair rinse to this list because for me it works really well. My hair is less greasy plus I love the smell of my hair after this rinse. 😊
You need:
1 tablespoon of Chamomile tea
1 tablespoon of Green tea
1 tablespoon of Jasmine tea
1 tablespoon of Peppermint tea
1 tablespoon of Lavender tea
1 tablespoon of Rooibos tea
Additional: One of them drawed my attention to rosemary which can be a good addition to this recipe! So if you would like to add rosemary as well in my opinion 1 tablespoon of it will be enough.
How to do it:
Brew a strong tea out of the herbs. (Because I have long hair I usually make 1 liter of strong brew.)
Let it sit and cool to roome temperature.
After washing your hair and putting your regular balming your hair, slowly pour the brew through your hair and massage your scalp.
You can rinse with water your hair after the herbal rinse, but personally I love leaving out this step because water makes the good herbal tea smell go away.
🍵Herbal tea for relaxation🍵

Recoil-operated’s $12 traditional mead:
So one of the most common things I see on my Mead posts is “I’d love to do that, but I don’t have the stuff”
We’ll sit down and buckle up. Because I’m about to show you how to make a $12.56 traditional mead.
Here’s the recipe:
1 gallon Deer Park/spring water. You don’t want distilled.
3 lb or 32 fluid ounces honey.
One package of yeast.
a party balloon.
The cost total is $13.49, but you only need one pack of yeast. So -$0.90.
Let’s begin:
Everything together on a clean work surface, you will need a clean glass. And while not entirely necessary, a measuring cup will be handy.
Pour a cup of water for yourself and drink it. Hydration is important. Also this will allow you headspace.
Remove about ehhhhh, a quart or so of water to drink later.
Trust me. You’re going to want it
Wash your drinking cup and mixing about a teaspoon of honey.
You have two options for yeast, that bread yeast we bought, or professional brewer’s yeast.
They’re both the same price. You can get brewers yeast off of Amazon.
I already have brewer’s yeast, so I’m using brewer’s yeast
Stick that in that honey water.
Stick your honey in some hot water.
Go outside. Breath the free air. Know what it is… To truely live.
Enough of that bitch. Honey’s hot. Put it in the water.
Put the water in the honey too.
Shake the sin out of it.
Put that stuff back in the big bitch.
Shake the sh*t outta it.
Hydrate yourself with the water you removed earlier.
Shank a balloon with a pin.
Add your yeasty honey water.
Balloon it.
Label it.
If your trad mead says anything racist, or anything positive about Hitler. Straighten that sh*t out.
And there you go. $12 (.56) traditional mead. Stick it somewhere dark and leave it alone for a while.
Shake the hell outta it once a day for the first four days. Then let it be until it’s clear.
Update:
Boozification has begun.
Lots of spices and herbs make for nice additions as well.
Good post.
Who the hell are you to tell your sentient trad mead what to think?
I’m it’s creator. I have deemed racism to be sin.
Yayyyyy this is back on my dash!

From The Golden Voyage of Sinbad by Ray Harryhausen
Reclining Pan Statue, 1535
attributed to Francesco da Sangallo (Italian, 1494-1576).
In this sculpture the satyr Pan reclines on a rocky base amid grape clusters and vines. His left hand clutches a goatskin called a nebris that he wears around his neck. Such details, together with the small salamander carved amid the rocks, evoke a rustic scene befitting Pan, the half goat-half human god of the woods, fields, and flocks known for his lecherous pursuits.
The reed pipe, or syrinx, in Pan’s right hand is an allusion to the maiden Syrinx, who was changed into a patch of reeds to escape the satyr’s advances. Francesco da Sangallo carved this sculpture from a recycled piece of ancient marble and it once served as a fountain; its water spout is still visible at the mouth of the sack above his right arm.

Mummified Gazelle
A queen’s pet gazelle was readied for eternity with the same lavish care as a member of the royal family. In fine, blue-trimmed bandages and a custom-made wooden coffin, it accompanied its owner to the grave.
This gazelle was probably a pet belonging to Isetemkheb D (ca. 1070-945 BC), and was buried in the royal cache found in (“DB320″). The animal lies in a gazelle-shaped wooden coffin made of several pieces of wood (probably sycamore) doweled together. Both the interior and exterior of the coffin are covered with a layer of white plaster. The exterior plaster is covered with black paint, while the interior remains pure white.
The gazelle is wrapped in several meters of linen bandages, ripped from at least one if not more larger garments. One of the bandages has a border decoration consisting of four lines of blue thread. The interior of the gazelle was filled once again possibly with its viscera, and packed with sandy soil which helped to maintain its shape.

All that we have here is a link, a doorway, through which the student may pass into the unknown. Freemasonry has nothing to do with things of form save that it realizes form is molded by and manifests the life it contains. Consequently the student is seeking so to mold his life that the form will glorify the God whose temple he is slowly building as he awakens one by one the workmen within himself and directs them to carry out the plan that has been given him out of heaven.
So far as it is possible to discover, ancient Freemasonry and the beautiful cosmic allegories that it teaches, perpetuated through
hundreds of lodges and ancient mysteries, forms the oldest of the Mystery Schools; and its preservation through the ages has not depended upon itself as an exoteric body of partly evolved individuals but upon a concealed brotherhood, the exoteric side of Freemasonry.
All the great Mystery Schools have hierarchies upon the spiritual planes of Nature which are expressing themselves in this world through
creeds and organizations. The true student seeks to lift himself from the exoteric body upward spiritually until he joins the esoteric
group which, without a lodge on the physical plane of Nature, is far greater than all the lodges of which it is the central fire. The spiritual instructors of humanity are forced to labor in the concrete world with things comprehensible to the concrete mind, and there man begins to comprehend the meaning of the allegories and symbols which surround his exoteric work as soon as he prepares himself to receive them.
The true Mason realizes that the work of
the Mystery Schools in the world is of an inclusive rather than an exclusive nature, and that the only lodge which is broad enough to
express his ideals is one whose dome is the heavens, whose pillars are the corners of creation, whose checker-board floor is composed of the crossing currents of human emotion and whose altar is the human heart.
Creeds cannot bind the true seeker for truth. Realizing the unity of all truth, the Mason also realizes that the hierarchies laboring with him have given him in his varying degrees the mystic spiritual rituals of all the Mystery Schools in the world, and if he would fill his place in the plan he must not enter this sacred study for what he can get out of it but that he may learn how to serve.
In Freemasonry is concealed the mystery of creation, the answer to the problem of existence, and the path the student must tread in order to achieve living power.
The true student realizes most of all that the taking of degrees does not make a man a Mason. A Mason is not appointed; he is evolved and he must realize that the position he holds in the exoteric lodge means nothing compared to his position in the spiritual lodge of life. He must forever discard the idea that he can be told or instructed in the sacred Mysteries or that his being a member of an organization improves him in any way.
He must realize that his duty is to build and evolve the sacred teachings in his own being: that nothing but his own purified being can unlock the door to the sealed libraries of human consciousness, and that his Masonic rites must eternally be speculative until he makes them operative by living the life of the mystic Mason.
His karmic responsibilities increase with his opportunities. Those who are surrounded with
knowledge and opportunity for self-improvement and make nothing of these opportunities are the lazy workmen who will be spiritually, if not physically, cast out of the temple of the king.
The Masonic order is not a mere social organization, but is composed of all those who have banded themselves together to
learn and apply the principles of mysticism and the occult rites. They are (or should be) philosophers, sages and sober-minded
individuals who have dedicated themselves upon the Masonic altar and vowed by all they hold dear that the world shall be better,
wiser, and happier because they have lived.
Those who enter these mystic rites and pass between the pillars seeking either prestige or
commercial advantage are blasphemers, and while in this world we may count them as successful, they are the cosmic failures who
have barred themselves out from the true rite whose keynote is unselfishness and whose workers have renounced the things of
earth.
In ancient times many years of preparation were required before the neophyte was permitted to enter the temple of the Mysteries. In this way the shallow, the curious, the faint of heart, and those unable to withstand the temptations of life were automatically eliminated by their inability to meet the requirements for admission. The successful candidate who did pass between the pillars entered the temple, keenly realizing his sublime opportunity, his divine obligation, and the mystic privilege which he had earned for himself through years of special preparation.
Only those are truly Masons who enter their temple in reverence, who seek not the ephemeral things of life but the treasures which are eternal, whose sole desire is to know the true mystery of the Craft that they may join as honest workmen those who have gone before as builders of the Universal Temple.
The Masonic ritual is not a ceremony, but a life to be lived. Those alone are truly Masons who, dedicating their lives and their fortunes upon the a altar of the living flame, undertake the construction of the one universal building of which they are the workmen and their God the living Architect.
When we have Masons like this the Craft will
again be operative, the flaming triangle will shine forth with greater lustre, the dead builder will rise from his tomb, and the Lost Word so long concealed from the profane will blaze forth again with the power that makes all things new."
- Manly P. Hall, The Lost Keys of Freemasonry
Then He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” —Mrk. 5:9
