“I mean I’m going to write a speech about how much I love her.”

Henry was enjoying as much of his family time as he could fit in. Today though it was an open day as he sat outside with his sketch pad

“What are you working on?”

“Is a romantic boat ride too much for a proposal?”

“No, I wouldn’t say so. Is that how you plan on asking?”

“I’m trying to set up a special night for Liz.”

“Can I do anything to help?”

Colt was nervous as he hung up the phone letting out a breath, “One more call down.”

“Calls for what?”

“Have i ever told you just how much I love you, Tatia?”

“I think you may have mentioned it once or twice.”

“I love you too, Tatia. In ways I never thought possible for me.”

“If we’re never torn apart by another curse, it’ll be too soon.”

“It doesn’t. You’re truly his mother in every way, and I love that you are,” He admitted happily, “I’m taking it there’s no competition for your heart then.”

“Of course there isn't, I love you.”

“I’ve been actually really good. I mean this is all way more chaotic than I probably planned, but I’m just happy to actually be here.”

“I'm glad you're doing okay, sweetheart. If I can ever do anything to help, tell me. And, we do have the whole summer now, plenty of time to spend together if you want to.”

“I mean I think you are. I was expecting an attentive grandmother that paid attention to me.”

“I’m happy to hear that. Tell me, how have you been doing? I know all of this seems to be taking precedent, but aside from that.”

“You know sometimes I think Hayden forgets which one of us has the same DNA. He thinks the entire world of you, babe,” Kol admitted unable to stop himself from kissing her. “God I missed doing that.”

“I don't think the DNA matters to him one way or the other.” Tatia shrugged, smiling to herself at the kiss. “I've missed it too.”
