Rainer gave a small smile to the newcomer, an apologetic look at them for the water pouring from the sprinklers above them: his greenhouse humid and perfect in his expert opinion. The downpour didn’t bother him but no doubt bothered the other.

“ No need, ” Jean-Paul replied, “ I can shake it off, shake it off. ” He had taken a trip to the green houses simply because he missed seeing green things growing outside, though he literally could run to Texas and back in .75 seconds if he really felt like it. But the speedster decided to stay local. “ Whatcha growing in here anyway ? ”

Coralie does their best to visit their dads as much as possible, but today’s visit is.. a little different. Most of the time they’re pretty good at balancing things out, staying in control of things and keeping a positive outlook on what’s going on around them, but this is definitely starting to get on top of them. And while they could talk to Thea or Tye about it.. there’s just always something really comforting about talking to her dad when they’re overwhelmed and things don’t feel right. And this.. is definitely one of those times.

The whole point of having a big house in Paragon was so it could be a place for the family, the whole family, to gather and stay and visit whenever they wanted to. He and Kyle would always have an open door policy and it was at the point where even their kids friends would just show up and crash on occasion because they knew there was always a full fridge of food and an extra bed if needed.

“ Kill them with kindness. It will make them think twice about doing it next time,” Jean-Paul suggested. “ No need to feel like you need to change yourself to get respect. Trust me that is the real soul-crusher. Though, if you were to go down that road, I think you’d look tres magnifique with purple hair. ”
