Interviewer: Any up-and-coming rock’n’roll band that you really, really like?

Robert: There is a band in Detroit called Greta Van Fleet. They are Led Zeppelin 1.

I: Yep

R: It’s like… The kid looks like he just dropped out of a kind off… beautiful little singer, very smart…

I: I’ve seen them! They’re really, really young!

R: Yeah, I hate him! /said with an amused smile/

I: He’s got such a huge voice!

R: Yeah! And he borrowed it from somebody I know very well! I mean what are you gonna do? It’s okay…

I: Do you know, has he tried to meet you…?

Thor: I apologize for your loss, I know how it feels 

Stay in the right lane except to pass

Get into the left lane as soon as you see a semi. They are going exponentially slower than you, you will come up on them fast, then you’ll decide to get in the left lane, and everyone behind you has to slam on their brakes. Don’t be that person.

Brake before the hill, then coast. Don’t ride your brakes the whole way down. This is a sure-fire way to burn through your brakes.

Brake before the turn. Accelerate through the turn.

Speed limits don’t exist. Everyone is going the speed they feel comfortable, whether that’s 55 or 85.

Make sure you have windshield wiper fluid.

If you don’t have a car capable of driving in the mountains, don’t drive in the mountains.

Don’t ride someone’s ass.

One in FOUR people have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. Miscarriage, stillbirth, the death of a baby already born.

All month long, I will be taking submissions from anyone who’d like to share their stories, pictures, etc. around the loss of their baby/babies.

Too often, the subject is seen as taboo. For some, talking about the baby they’ve lost, telling their story, is comforting and helpful through the grieving process. But so many times, the people around them aren’t sure how to react, creating an awkward and potentially more traumatizing situation.
