With the sequel arriving today, this is the perfect thing to have on for a refresher while tidying up and writing. Merely a mostly silent protagonist, some visceral violence choreography that manages to be cathartic at the same time, and a really melodic soundtrack that does it does me. One can only hope to have the determination of Sisu tracking down the Nazi bastards that done him dirty. Sisu: Road to Revenge (2025)

They may not be Nazi's, but it might be just about as cathartic to watch Sisu on his road to revenge...

When you think, "they aren't really going to do that are they?", yes, yes they will. At times doubling down on the slapstick violence this is like Sam Rami got to make a war movie immediately after Evil Dead 2. With a crazy talented cast or character actors to make up for bullshit of some of the most epic moments I cannot quite bring myself to really get into this more than first. But it comes reallt close.
