So, as we know, the Haggar was discovered by Allura as Altean- and she is thought to be one of the only other Altean left. But, Allura said the reason she was able to tell Haggar was Altean was because of the magic she held (and her markings and visuals and stuff- before she saw her face she sorta just suspected it) Whenever Haggar uses her magic it's all purple and stuff like in the picture above. Well, Haggar wasn't the only other creature in the show with this magic. The weird masked people were too. They possess this same magic Allura said only Alteans could have- plus they have their faces covered with masks so you wouldn't be able to tell by their hair or face markings if they were Altean. So what if these creatures are Altean too and they may be using their camouflage skill to make them more Galra like (because they seem a bit tall to have the body similar to Allura) Just a thought though.
