The beaded trinket in front of the Painter charm is another thingy. It’s delicate but I love it to bits, simple but pretty yk.

They remind me that I’m doing things right. And their care reminds me I’m still human sometimes. I’m still something the kids feel safe to rest around. I’m not always a scary dog snarling and snapping at the nearest threat. The ones I’m actually close to mean the world to me. And I think I was stupid to take one kid’s words to heart. Some of these kids on here, I barely know. Some of them I know enough that I talk to them often. We hang out. We check on each other. The entirety of my Goob pile seems to be a very good bunch of kiddos, they’re all so kind to each other and so supportive when someone’s going through something.

Tumblr right now seems to be a different story so I’ve been staying away from it, I don’t want to associate myself with anyone’s bad choices even if I’m telling them in the background to calm down and rethink a lot. Trying to be a quieter player here. I’m no one’s dad, that’s for sure. A kid’s bad decisions is their decisions, the most I can do is steer them in a better direction. I’m an older brother, not a father. Older bros don’t get listened to sometimes and that’s okay. I trust the kids, and if they fuck around and find out that’s part of learning as a human. They can dust themselves off, I’ll be there to pick them back up in the end— but they’ve gotta know the pain of the fall sometimes. Especially if they were the ones that tripped themselves up first.

I am neutral about all of it. All the docs I’ve read (yes, up to 11 Google Docs hit the subreddit the last time I checked and I was up to date with them, there’s 12? Now?) and properly pored through over hours after work lead me to this. Neither of them are good people, both for their own reasons. Not equals in their wrongs, but both are still wrong. At this point? I don’t want to support either of them, but I’m especially disappointed in the community— by the amount of people that go “he should be dead” because that’s a human life.

And where my stance is, I don’t think he should have been harassed to that point. I don’t think Ren should have egged that on by reposting her brother telling him to do that. When she said “oh don’t do that! The last thing I want is that! 🥺” in her document.

Zeal is an unprofessional man who needs more support physically and mentally in making proper decisions for himself. He should learn boundaries for himself and others. And should in the future, most likely not run with a team of idiots like the devs that shunned him out and turned on him instantly. Being around more mature people might give him the development he needs. He has a shitty way of dealing with conflict, he wasn’t really cool to me in general, but he didn’t deserve to be driven to where he was.

Ren is royally unstable and shouldn’t be on the internet, she should be in therapy, not seeking more validation for her story when she already has so much. Not harassing more people. She ‘didn’t want’ this drama to spin this far and yet it did and unfortunately with how it looks. I find her behavior so attention seeking it’s hard to feel bad for her— especially when she sits and harasses the fuck out of anyone that isn’t solely on her side. Why is she getting more aggressive with it? What’s the fucking point? Why would she sit there and like posts that people made of talking about his attempt? Or repost that shit from her brother if she really wanted this to not explode way out of proportion? You’d have thought surely she’d be more calm and rational about it when she already had the support of the whole community in her hands when that doc dropped. I think she’s hiding something.

But we other people should have never touched the situation to begin with, we are OUTSIDERS. We don’t KNOW the full story and we most likely never will. Ren’s new document, she said it herself, won’t have anything new. It’s too astronomically expensive for two regular people from two entirely different countries to have a court case. Stop fighting each other on the internet. Can we love the memories of the house that once stood? The memories with friends within it?
