I cleaned up and coloured baby doll.
I’m so glad this made it to the final cut of the film. It was one of my original pitches for rooms and when we pitched it to a panel people from the industry, before we had a final story board, they said it would be better if it was more creepy. This meant that allot of my rooms where up to get into the final cut. But this one was my favourite. I love the randomness of it. I love how off beat it is towards the best of the film.Â

another cleaned up, off colour, part from my shots I did the roughs for in the film
I wanted to clean this up and put into my showreel so I can show I can work in multiple medias since i animated this over a 3D background.
I cleaned up and did an off colour version on the floating part of our film for my showreel.
I know it wont be used as it is slightly off model and off colour but I’m more than happy to go back and make it film worthy if we’re strapped for time.
I cleaned up the shark test so I could put them into my showreel
this also got me to go back and tween allot of the the movement. Â
here’s I’ve done the roughs for mr monster floating into the void room.
I think I did a god job animating him to look weightless in the air in the wide shot. Im excited to see how adzie works with it in the clean up stageÂ

part 2 of my colab work :)
I think I’ve done well with getting these done and the movement is really good.
I’ve shared them with the group and will make changes if needed. if not then I’ll send them as PNG files to Adzie and clean up starts

this is the scenes before the hallway running shot that I uploaded earlier so I’ve got one more shot to do before I move on to other bitsÂ
here’s the second go at the hallway scene from the film. I tried to stick more to the model this time and add more movement at the end.
I’ve learnt quite allot from these rough on how to work on a moving background. I understood that at some points it was better to have the character staying still as the background was doing all the movement for them and only when the camera stopped does he really need to move. I would like to experiment more with how he will be moving on the background to see how effective he can be.
I used this video to get an idea of how the shark should move since it’s on land when we fully see it.
I thought that even though it is a scary moment it fit that it should kinda wobble across the ground to fit with the dark humour of the film
I’ve been messing around with working out how the shark in the first room is going to move and how the eyes fit into it’s mouth.

first animation test for a running cycle
It’s very choppy and I really did do it quickly so I had something to do. Which is not an excuse. I will be going back to make it better for future showreel progress.Â
this is my animation test for the hall way scene. I used reference from Adzie’s running cycle since they are the animation director. Will probably go back and work to make the character more like the model sheet.

This is a clean up of a test I did a couple of days ago to see if I could do clean up to a good standard.
It’s not the best animation and I’ll keep working on this to hopefully but in my show reel later on.
Adzie has also done a test For Mr. Monster’s run
From this we can see clearly how his mouth is going to work, as Adzie is head of character design they decide how the face and character model is going to work.
We can see that the eyebrows are going to work away from the head and the top and bottom of the head can move separately from each other.
Wiggy has also been working on animation tests for Mr. Monster
I really like Wiggy’s animation style, it’s very clean and the movement is really smooth.
From this we can see a style of how Mr.Monster can wallk.Â

Adzie has made a emotion sheet to help us all figure out how his face is going to work.
This helps us all keep on model and help us all keep the same style when animating which is a big thing which we all want to focus on to make it more professionalÂ
