Let me point out the phrasing of this post,
«If you support that effort [funding anti-trans hatred] by watching the show»...
Furthermore, I believe we would all agree that the current targeting of transgender people is pushed by people that believe:
I'm condemning you because you don't hold my same beliefs.
I have had first hand experience of people telling me to kill myself, that I'm going to hell, and have even been sent explicit photos because of my preaching that I have noticed, overall, as a community (LGBTQ+) we have started to condemn eachother based on the reasoning above.
This is extremely damaging. Think of it this way; Police officers. Police officers job is to uphold the law. Those who break the law, money launder or whatever else— they are hypocrites, do we agree?
I am part of many marginalized communities. I shall list a few, not to prove myself, because I needn't do that for the internet, but because it puts it into perspective. I am a former impoverished orphan, abuse survivor, transgender man, and am homosexual.
I, in no way, am excusing JK Bitch (formerly JK Rowling)'s actions, statements, or her beliefs.
You absolutely have the right to distance yourself, unfriend, or even explain yourself to anyone for any reason, but it is not your place to condemn.
You have no right to condemn others just as they have no right to condemn you for being transgender, gay, or any other marginalized or discriminated group.
No hate directed to, or intended for, the original author (OP) of this image. Nor to anyone who harbours this belief, or the opposite.
