Xie Lian Glazer

What I want is the conversation about where Xie Lian was for those 2 months when he went missing and why it was he changed so drastically that lead to the final straw for Feng Xin to leave. He has no idea what happened to Xie Lian, still to this day. He has no idea White No Face was really tormenting him and lured XL into the woods, has no idea he was tied down and stabbed 100 times by people he was trying to save. He has no idea that the NEXT DAY after he left, Xie Lian's parents hung themselves and that Xie Lian desperately tried to commit suicide. He has no idea Xie Lian snapped and almost committed genocide to Yong'an and that he banished himself for having his last devoted believer take the fall for him.

He has no idea how much Xie Lian has suffered for the last 800 years and I feel like if he knew, Feng Xin would have a total meltdown. It would break him. No matter how angry he was at XL, he never would've wanted him to endure all that he's been through and it would seriously fuck him up. I feel like we've been robbed of this moment. Feng Xin was once Xie Lian's closest and dearest friend and ally, and he believed in him and served him faithfully until he couldn't endure it anymore and was told to leave. And I have no doubt he ascended following Xie Lian's example and thought of him all the time, wondering where he was and if he was okay and wondering why no one could find him. He has no idea.

I'm sure Xie Lian would rather not have that conversation. He probably feels it won't do any good and would only hurt Feng Xin to know what happened, but damn would it be a raw and tragic moment.
