Yes, the first directive is supposed to be a play on the prime directive.

Am I the only one who can't finish an episode in less than 30 minutes?? I had to keep pausing it because I GOT SO FREAKING EMOTIONAL IN SO MANY PARTS ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY! It took me over an hour to finish it. 

Okay, I always wondered what it would be like for Karai to live with them and it's so cute and perfect I love it. Mikey wanting a hug and Karai watching them "train" and the training just turning into a brawl between brothers. I just hope we eventually get to see Karai spending more time with them and living together, because it's beautiful. 

OH and the SAINW references were NOT OKAY! I don't know if they were done on purpose but Mikey's arm and Raph's eye were too close for comfort. 

I really liked this episode overall. The Karai moments between her and... everyone were amazing. I'm really happy that Raph seems to have had some character development and did want to save her (that was refreshing to see). I'm really happy we got to learn more about Splinter and Shredder's past. Karai mutating was... okay I guess. It was just kinda done before with April's dad but whatever. Everything else was pretty good. No major complaints on my part.
