These are some character sketches for my final project for advanced concept art. Trying to work things out, but it looks like the top set is closest to what I want for them.

my work on Roland from GIGANTIC! This version of Roland never made it into the game but it was fun to make regardless. Following Vinod’s original design, I was experimenting with his silhouette. Stylistically it was early in development, but it did inform my future designs.

MRS. PEACOCK - WITH THE CANDLESTICK || If you think I’m doing Clue character designs, you are correct. Or… you solved it? Too on the nose? I don’t care, this is my favorite board game and I’ve wanted to do this forever.  Mrs. Peacock, the pointed and somewhat sinister grande dame of the Clue-verse. My best guess, she probably whacked Mr. Black in the Conservatory.  More coming. Ladies first.

I had a lot of fun and I actually was dying to work on George Blagden’s expressions since I watched this scene. Concept artist problems. Anyway! I’ll keep practicing this style.

I just love Gavroche as a character. He’s so pure. And Robert Madge’s version is adorable. ;;;;; I actually had like 20 expressions but I had to delete some of them because I had no time.
