“You’re an idiot, you know.” Prior to her words, the room had been filled with a comfortable silence, as it usually was when they spent time together. It didn’t happen often, their being able to steal a moment alone, even when Leonard did manage to take a break from touring to visit his girlfriend at her parents’ home, and when those times did happen, Ariana had long ago grown used to those moments being filled with silent, aching kisses that gradually shifted into more, and cuddling while watching their favorite films, rather than any sense of speech. It wasn’t as if they didn’t talk, of course; their visits were filled with conversation, catching up on what they’d missed in each other’s lives, but dialogue was reserved for when they were with others, when they needed to abstain from losing themselves in each other - for moments when they couldn’t be like this. But regardless, Ariana couldn’t help but laugh as she spoke to him, her fingertips tracing against the backside of his hand before his hand twisted slightly, his fingers falling naturally into their interwoven place with her own. “I can’t believe you’ve never seen The Fox and the Hound, but I also can’t believe you’re actually watching it as opposed to kissing me. Because let me tell you,” she breathed, leaning in to brush her lips gently against his own, “you’re missing out.” Pulling away, Ariana shifted slightly, making herself comfortable against his shoulder as a smile tugged at her lips. “You’re lucky I love you, Leo. Incredibly lucky indeed.”
Oh, man. This is difficult. I’d have to say the one thing Ariana does with Leo that she doesn’t do with anyone else is stay up late. Literally, she’s the worst at it?? And it’s so lame, but she’s super terrible at staying up late. Like she always ends up getting incredibly crabby or sleepy, and will almost just fall asleep mid-conversation, but since she’s started seeing Leo, she realized that he has the most free time late at night and that he’s definitely on a stay up all night sleeping schedule, so she stays up really late to talk to him, whether it’s so she can cuddle with him and talk to him when he comes over, or even if it’s just for a late night phone call after his shows are over. :*
