Terraria Headcanons

As of the present, I am extremely uncomfortable with any topics relating to drugs, even if it was just a silly joke post.

The Corruption and Crimson are capable of infecting Terrarians, hence why no NPCs will live in the biomes infected by either, for fear they are caught by it. The Crimson's infection is more obvious, quickly mutating parts of the body to match the fleshy theme, but since the changes are immediately visible the infected can be dealt with much faster. The Corruption is more subtle, and harder to detect right off the bat than the Crimson. Below the infected's clothing, it begins to develop worm scales, spikes, etc. The best way to tell that someone is infected by the Corruption is if they suddenly start to become "obsessed" with studying it.

The Lunatic Cultist and the other cultists are actually skeletons behind the robes and gloves. It fits considering the nature of the dungeon.

possessed armor are corruption clones of a single corrupted terrarian, but the corruption isnt that good at it, so the clones are poorly made, failing to recreate the destructive capabilities of a corrupt terrarian

If the player is a werewolf, the arms dealer will automatically despise the player, he has a very strong hatred of werecreatures and would have gladly killed the player off if he didn't think the rest of the npcs wouldn't immediately turn against him or didn't know how powerful the player is in the first place.

When Werewolf!Players and the zoologist are transformed, the stylist loves trying to brush or style their fur.

The dungeon was once the last bastion of humans left on the planet after the Moon Lord took over, and he struck a deal with them. If they worshipped him as their new god, they would get to live, and those who didn’t became the angry bones. The Lunatic Cultist was the first, and most devout, person to worship the Moon Lord, and became the Cult Leader. His mask is made out of metal forged from the moon itself. Some managed to escape the dungeon before being turned, and they built the cabins underground and later became the rebels fighting against the Moon Lord’s rule.

The Player can literally kill gods but ends up getting half-digested by blue and green slimes at least twice a week. Both the Nurse and the Guide are appalled (but the Guide also thinks it's kind of funny.)

the clothier and the guide dont get along great, but do talk at times, since they have quite a bit in common. though the guide is worried about what happens to the player after they kill him, but the clothier sees skeletron as enough of a test for them.
