I don’t want my art to be part of this video and I didn’t give permission for it to be on the thumbnail. I am not affiliated with this creator. It makes me kind of uncomfortable that they’d include my work on the thumbnail of a creator exposè video when it has nothing to do with me?
especially when the original video they are boosting has its own thumbnail without my art. It gives a message that my work is supposed to elicit disgust and shock as clickbait when I made it as a gift for someone.
I don’t want anyone to cause trouble for them. Given that you say they’re anti-darkship, I don’t think I’d be received respectfully by their community or by them. I’d really rather not be harassed by their comment section for asking to be left out of the thumbnail.
I can sense that this might get taken out of context, so please know that I am not remarking on the contents of the video, just that I didn’t give permission for usage. I understand someone can use it anyway. It still sucks to do.
I respect the research, community effort, and intent of the exposè video to spread awareness to English speakers in the community about an ongoing issue with the creator.

I'm seeing warnings about scammers trying to commission artists but the "reference sheet" for their character they want commissioned isn't an image but a .vbs file ("visual basic script"), and will run a script when you open it, probably to yoink your account(s), but I haven't seen this from anyone who's actually clicked it yet. Just be careful and never open a file like that, 'cause people suck.
