Dirk: He’s so proud of Dirk. He’s a self made man despite his situation and has grown to be superb. Whenever he talks to him, it’s like taking a glimpse at his brother from twenty years. They as different as they are similar, and davenforth has no problem taking him under his wing because he can tell dirk wants to belong and he so beyond does. He’s almost like the son Davenforth knows he’ll never have except with a creepy puppet fetish. That can be overlooked. Dirk is fiercely loyal, strong, compassionate. Davenforth loves him because of who he’s made himself to be. He’s proud of him for continuing to fight his own demons and overcome himself time and time again. If you ask Davenforth how he feels about Dirk you’ll probably just get a grin and a “He’s a good kid.” though.Derek: Fuck that guy. Derek was Davenforths ride or die. Inseparable since children. Despite technically being the older brother, Derek was the one that taught him and really protected him. Davenforth looked up to and his own mind Derek became something like a mythical figure in living flesh. Derek even started wearing dorky sunglasses with him so he didn’t feel stupid for having a stupid eye condition. Eventually what he thought of Derek and expectations he placed on himself started getting to him, essentially causing him to resent Derek. In their early twenties they finally went their own ways, Davenforth going to pursue a career and secure assets so that he and his family would never live in the squalor he was raised in while trying to make something great of himself. Derek, however, went on to make a family something that Davenforth resented him for further thinking a wholesome family life something forever out of his reach. He didn’t know much of the trials and tribulations Derek faced and he knows he should have done more to be there, to have found out, but instead he buried those feelings of guilt under his newfound superstar lifestyle, finally convincing himself that he was better than Derek. Being around Derek again is nothing short of tumultuous. The love is there but they’ve evolved into such different people now. The rose colored glasses are off now though, Derek is just as clueless as everyone else and trying to do what he thinks is right and do his best. Davenforth knows he should have been there for his brother more, that maybe Derek needed to lean on him just much as he was leaned on. He’s not leaving Derek’s side again, not this time, no matter how much they get on each others nerves.

Dave: Dave reminds Davenforth so much of who he was, who he still is sometimes, and even who he thinks he’s supposed to be. It doesn’t help that the kid looks just like him. So much of what Dave says to him sounds like his own inner dialogue that sometimes Davenforth snaps and speaks to him like he’d speak to himself. Regardless, he loves Dave. He knows he’s been through so much and he’s achieved more than what Davenforth himself could have ever hoped to just in a different way. Dave is a good kid with a wealth of support and love around him and even though he’s fucked up in his own way the little dude fuckin did it. He stepped out of big brothers shadow and became his own man, a better man. Davenforth is proud.Handmaid: Maybe he has a bit of a soft spot for the misunderstood. Handmaid is just trying to make it. She’s scared, but learning and she’s fun to be around. She’s curious, and even though he doesn’t know who she was before her own incidents, Davenforth wouldn’t care anyway. Handmaid is who she is now, and that’s a bright lovely lady that’s totally bitchin.Rajani: Rajani was always easy to fuck with. The stone faced super serious ones always were. It also helped that he was such good friends with a few of her contemporaries, most notably her leader. Whenever he’d need info he could always count on Rajani to have it, and for him to be to annoying enough to get it off her without her noticing until the last minute. Regardless, he thought she really didn’t have much of a soul, much of a heart and he’s learning that that’s not necessarily the truth. She’s got a job to do. He can understand that. Maybe she doesn’t want to feel. Maybe he can understand that too.Riley: She’s the newest addition to his life by far, despite having been a part of his brothers for the two decades he wasn’t. Riley seems to be funny, pretty chill, he can definitely see where Dave gets a lot of his mannerisms and it’s kind of startling because of how familiar they are. Riley is all good in his book even if she is like kryptonite to his brother. Sometimes you just have to let those addictions go.

Upon meeting him, Bruncle thought Eridan was nothing more than a kid trying to fill an adults clothing, but while watching and going through trials and tribulations Bruncle has found that despite whatever misstep Eridan is just a true leader through and through trying to make the best decisions he can in impossible situations. Not to mention she’s a crazy badass knife lady that has had everything stripped from her. A kindred soul. One he’s scared to get closer to.
